Also, has anyone went through Jamaican adoption process?

i have tried calling kingston but NO answer and then when i did get someone the transferd me and no one ever picked up!!! is there another number to call?? i got the 876-935-6000 does anyone know of another number???

That is the number I remember. It was some trick like calling after one. My best response from them though was email. Most times they responded the same day.

I thought he would be here by now too - but no such luck. I'm being induced tomorrow - I have to be at the hospital at 7:30am. This is my last day before I become a mommy... so strange

Hi everyone,

Congrats on the green card. Once he recv guardianship it's better for you to file since you are the citizen. He can but it will take a longer time (2-3 yrs).

Congrats on the greencard, Jonesie. I, too, don't know much about JA adoption. Although I met so many wonderful kids in JA whose parents are really struggling that Henry and I are thinking about it.

Interview help!?!?!?!

:help:

Can those who have went through the Kingston consulate pls share your interview experiences...

Our K-3 was just approved and I am in the process of gathering stuff now.

Do they ask a lot of questions?

Do they really look at the pictures ?

Ticket stubs?

phone records?

I am really stressing here I am hoping that we have enough evidence, and stuff....any timesavers or tips you can offer to make our lives easier? (F)

We are K-1ers, I'm not sure that the questions are much different tho.

When did you meet and where?

Has he ever traveled to the US before?

Has either been married before?

How many children do you both have?

How many times have you been to Jamacia?

We were questioned about my income.

When do you plan to get married?

That's all I recall. It went pretty fast. I hope that helps.

We had several photos, phone records, ticket stubbs all that, they didn't even look at it.
