I emailed the embassy to ask what should be brought to the appointment that is scheduled for next month (just to make sure) and this is the response I got:

Dear Sir/Madam;

Unfortunately we have not reached your priority date as yet. As soon as we get there, an interview will be scheduled for you and you will be notified of this.

What's the priority date? This is the first I've heard this.

I emailed the embassy to ask what should be brought to the appointment that is scheduled for next month (just to make sure) and this is the response I got:

Dear Sir/Madam;

No, they haven't scheduled one. He received a call on Friday to tell him of an appointment. I believe it was an appointment to pick up packet 3. That's scheduled for next month. I emailed them because I just wanted to find out if there was anything that he needed to bring. At the same time as he is picking up packet 3 he will be giving them the DS230.

My friends fiance went to the Embassy yesterday for the second interview. First one he did not have his police record so they did not get past that. She could not go back again so he went alone. Got in, made it past the first window, the second window, got finger printed, basically interviewed but was told there was a slight error with his file and to come back on May 8th. He asked what the error was and he was told not to worry that he would be approved but they needed until the 8th to correct the error.

What is that all about? No one would tell him what the error is.

My girlfriend e-mailed the Embassy today and asked what the error was and rudly they said only the interview has that information and it will be passed on at the May 8th interview at his "final" interview.

Final interview!!!!

Anyone hear of such a thing?

WOW did they not see the error before yesturday?? I wonder why it is going to take them until May 8th to correct it.

Oh no, that's terrible! That's so frustrating when you don't know what's going on and no one will tell you.

Oh ok... The only thing he needs to bring is his passport and the appt letter. If they haven't sent him one, you should e-mail them again and have them send it, because he will need that as well.

Oh, he needs both of those to pick up packet 3? I didn't know that and he probably didn't, either. I don't know if they've sent it, but he should know by next weekend. I'm going to email, though. Is there any other information that I should put in the email other than the NVC number and our names?
