hey guys!

I have a question - for the K1 VISA-do you have to own a house or other property or will your salary be suffecient proof of income?

I always thought it was just proving with your salary, but then I am about to buy a house and may or may not have closed by then so I thought "I bet the VJ friends will know!" hahaha

They don't look at that kind of stuff. As long as your income exceeds the poverty level (for 2 people - you and HIM) you will be fine. The only time you would use your other assets to help you out is IF you didn't make enough money.

July 14, 2007 - Biometrics appt. (after re-scheduling)

April 2, 2008 - got an e-mail that our case was transferred to California!

May 12, 2008 - got an e-mail that our case is APPROVED!!

May 17, 2008 - Received Green Card in the mail! No more Immigration for TEN YEARS!!

December 6, 2007 - Monique Savannah is born!! 6 lbs. 13 oz.

Rhonda it is way to early for you to be up :yes: . What are you doing up so early?

I am TEMPORARILY on day shift for the rest of this week and next week. ^_^ I have mixed feelings about it. I would love day shift again but if it's only for 1 1/2 weeks, it's not worth it. It's too hard to adjust my sleep schedule only to have to adjust it back again week after next. And they only gave me 12 hours notice that I was getting moved to day shift :ranting: I really want a new job.

Darlene....quick question....was your EAD transferd to Cali as well or just the green card???....our noa1 yesterday said ours was at the MSC....because i just checked there processing dates and they are ONLY on December 27th.... :( i wonder if yu can realy go by those dates....

Just the AOS. I am driving myself crazy looking at the USCIS site every 10 minutes to see if there are any touches. I wish they would hurry up and send the RFE for the I-693. I would love to just send but wouldn't take the chance. No touches on the EAD since the 13th. It runs out on the 11 of April..... :crying:

yup i know what you mean....i had to explain to mike that we have to wait for this like we waited for the k-1 part...he thought all i did was send in papers and wham he got the card and ead...

they may or may not send you a rfe...i hope they don't and just approve it!!!!!!!

on a side note got my goodies from sams's market....i love that store....you get things in like 2 days after ordering....got mike some treats that i know he has been dying for!!

Julie got me hooked on a new Mahjong game and it's pretty much taken over my life!! It's the first game I actually bought.....I can't stop playing. I'm going through my work really fast so I can get back to it. :wacko:

Lola pooped on the bathroom floor and I stepped in it last night (never turned the light on) -- I laughed...it was pretty funny. She really misses him. I think I might bring her with me to the airport tonight.

Airpak said they did get in some pink slips today!!! Please pray our visa is in there. I am dying here!!!!!!!!
