hey guys!! thats exciting news about everyone getting the visas!!! WOO HOO!!!

I have a question - I have more than adequate funds to cover the poverty level, but do NOT have much money in savings OR checking. Will this matter?

When do I need that information?

Ok you guys, since I have time on my hands as I await our Visa delivery. I have scanned & saved in PDF the entire contents of Packet #3 for all upcoming petitioners. How do I post this?

Here it is.............Reading you can see why some of us were worried about the $335 request & side profile shots & I-864. Crazy.

thank you so much for posting this! so those of you who were recently interview: these items were not necessary? another thing i just don't get is why do the tax returns need to be notarized?

hi everyone,

SO exciting to hear of all the people getting through at the embassy this month!! congratulations to all of us... :-) to add to the good vibes, my fiance took our blue paper and i-864 to the embassy on thursday and everything went smoothly and we got through...we are just beside ourselves excited... :) now we're joining the line of people waiting for visas to be delivered...was wondering if anyone, besides lovelyjodie, with interviews in march has received the visa yet...? texasbound, my heart goes out to you...sending you TONS of vibes hoping they get everything straightened out soon...

SEAN DID HIS INTERVIEW TODAY MARCH 27, 2007. WE WERE VERY UNPREPARED. THE FEDEX WITH ALL OF HIS DOCUMENTS NEVER ARRIVED, I FORGOT TO SIGN THE AFFIDAVIT OF SUPORT, I FORGOT TO HAVE IT NOTARIZED, HE OLNY HAD 1 PIC THAT THE DIDNT ASK FOR AND HE WAS APPROVED PENDING THE AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT. WE WERE TRULY BLESSED.

Our embassy experience is posted under Embassy/USCIS reviews. Wish I could be of more help but I didn't attend with husband so his "report" is posted.

It's always better to be over-prepared than under-prepared when dealing with Kingston. Include plane receipts, phone bills, lots of photos, postal letters and cards (if any), and any other supporting docs that can prove you have a legitimate relationship. And of course, don't forget the bank letter, employer letter, copies of paystubs, copies of bank statements, and three years tax history.

Our K-3 was just approved and I am in the process of gathering stuff now.

Do they ask a lot of questions?

Do they really look at the pictures ?

Ticket stubs?

phone records?

I am really stressing here I am hoping that we have enough evidence, and stuff....any timesavers or tips you can offer to make our lives easier? (F)

JUNE 17 2007 FINALLY RECEIVED VISA

AUGUST 3, 2007 FLEW INTO JFK NY

AINT LONG AS IT HAS BEEN.....

4/06 * Started the process with Vermont

6/06 * Get approved in US

8/06 * Found out from Embassy our package #3 is lost in the mail (one month),

Ricardo drives to Kingston to pick up duplicate (before you needed appointment to do so)

9/06 * Finally reach the embassy by phone and told- no date for interview until November

10/06 * Receive package and date for INTERVIEW November 9, 2006

11/06 * Ricardo waits too long to get police report -- we cant do our interview

12/06-1/29 *** We wait for our new interview date while the embassy moves and

re-organizes???

1/29/06 * NEW INTERVIEW DATE 2/27/07

Messed up the 156 Got turned away at first window, no interview

3/1/06 ** THIRD INTERVIEW DATE 3/27/07

3/27/07 !!!!!!!VISA APPROVED!!!!!!!
