Ok, Ricardo I am going to go through your letter 1 by one.

First take a deep breath. They will give you another interview date.

1. Follow up with the Registrar Generals office & get the correct No Impediment Form. Clearly, someone is looking for the one you have…hope this doesn’t cause them a delay too.

2. Put everything in a Binder. Use clear 3 hole punch sheet protectors so that way you can easily see the document you are looking for & can pull them out. Also it will prevent you from putting holes in them. Im sorry you got someone with such a wicked personality.

3. As Im reading my letter from the packet it says “Fill out in duplicate, but do not sigh, the enclosed Forms DS 156K, DS-157)” you can also complete this form online. So Im not sure what happened there as far as the 156K & 157???

4. Complete a new I-134 that is current & notarized.

5. Go get the updated photos. 4 passport & 2 Profile shot photos

6. This is the first Ive heard of the $335, I was under the assumption that $100 receipt for Visa Issuance was all that was required.

Now, this is just another setback. Stand up & pick up where you left off. You will & can make it past this hurdle. We are all hear for you. & I do truly appreciate you confiding in us as to what happened. I had a feeling your problem was the barcode.

Can any vets please re list your check list for K-1 one more time so all of us March filers will be on our toes. Thank you & Be Blessed.

Texasbound,

Thank you. (L) Your response brought tears to my eyes, good ones, though.

First, we did go back to the Registra General's office the next day and a new no-impediment is being resiussed. (thanks)

I hadnt heard of this $335 fee either but it clearly states it on one of his instruction sheets. I would really like to know what it is. If anyone else knows something please let us know.

Next, redoing the I-134 is no problem. Can do. But I wonder if the I-864 has to be notarized too.

As far as the 156k you MUST do it online now-- yeah I think for the barcode too. The 157-158 can be handwritten according the the woman at the embassy. She told us to just make two copies of each.

We had the 4 passport photos, but not the profile ones they sound strange. I hope that he can just take the description to a local photo place and they will know what do to.

Thanks for the tip about the binder. I did have whatever I had organized enough to find what I needed but now I dont think that I will be able to go down for the next interview, if we get one, I have taken too many days off from work and I hope that he can get through all the paperwork on his own.

Thanks again for your kind words and ecouragement. I hope that my story helps the ones with interviews coming up. I will SURVIVE !!!!!!Im singing right now.

GOOD LUCK on your interview!!!!!!:thumbs:

I am going to be printing off my bank statements and I want to know if I need to print the entire statement or just the front and back pages which show the begining balance and the ending balance.

sonshyne,

my understanding is that you have to copy the whole thing, not just the front and back pages. that's what i'm doing, just to be safe...

good evening everyone,

nothing like a little panic!! :) earlier today i was feeling pretty good about all the stuff we've put together, but now i'm starting to panic!

is everyone else filling out the ds158? for some reason, i never thought we had to, but i see that ricardo needed it? (ricardo, i'm emailing you - and sending good vibes) also, what's the deal with the i-864? i had thought it was something we'd have to do as part of the aos process after he's here, not have it for the interview...can someone clarify? also side-profile photos -has anyone else had to have these? i don't think our instructions even mention that at all...and lastly, for my i-134 stuff i have copies of the forms i filled out for my taxes, not official transcripts from the i.r.s. - did i read the word "copies" wrong?! will the ones i have work, or are we screwed? :)

Hi Karin,

I also agree w/Belly's Girl. Do all the forms online and try obtaining all the info you didn't have before. Also the I-864 (Affidavit of Support) and the $335 is for immigrant visa (CR1/IR1), so you can disregard that. I wish you all the best but you will be just fine. I know it seems hard but everything will work out. You are not retarded we are only human and we all make mistakes. The pressure of this whole immigration process can make us forget the littlest things so stop being so hard on yourself.

Anna

 - every little thing gonna be alright
