Does that form need to be done in order to send it with the packet? I just made a copy of his vaccination record.

I smell a RFE coming my way...

Is that for the AOS or EAD? The AOS can take its time we need the EAD.

They finally cashed the checks after 9 days.

WE ARE DONE!!!

No Visa yet :(

No major stunbling blocks ahead. Another physical is needed. Of course had they responded to my emails, we would have already had that taken care of. So she got the blue sheet, though it appears they are willing to try to get things taken care of before the police report expires in a month. So it's an email today telling them when her next physical is scheduled for. They were very quick in responding in Mobay. I was surprised. In the past I could never get through to them. The physical is Monday morning. Back to the emails and phone calls. I hope they can actually come through as promised.

Is that for the AOS or EAD? The AOS can take its time we need the EAD.

They finally cashed the checks after 9 days.

From my experience, and others who received K1 around same time as I did, EAD was a complete waste of money because:

- Took forever to get approved

- Took even longer to get actual card in the mail

- Most employers wanted hubby to have actual greencard, and wouldn't accept EAD to work

I hope in your case things run smoother in filing for EAD. Good luck Darlene

Have any of you guys had a problem with with your spouse not wanting to go back to Jamaica for the next four years ? My husband stated last night that he would not be traveling back to the Yard untill 2010. I love Jamaica I want to go to Negril next year since I have never been . Would it be totally wrong to go without him  .

You can't come a farrin an return home without lookin hot or you flop

But seriously, consider yourself lucky. Unless you file for AP to travel, it might be about a year plus until you two are done with this whole process (waiting to get AOS approved, and him finding a job). It will be two years since we left JA this December, but taking care of home definitely comes first. Hubby should have full vacation accrued in October, so we're planning to go back either December or early January.

And yes, it would be wrong to go without him

Jonsie I understand about the flop part because he says he doesn't want to go back without big pockets  . H#LL he didn't have big pockets before he left so anything he goes back with will be big pockets  . Be sympathetic I am missing SUNFEST this year, he can work and take care of the yard while I am gone next year  .

No you still have to go to the Civil Surgeon but he will need the documentaion of the vaccines to transfer to the I-693a form. I just went on uscis and downloaded the whole Medical form and pulled out the vaccination supplement and gave it to the Civil Surgeon.
