HEY GUYS!!! ITS BEEN A WHILE. Took a bit to catch up on the happenings. Just trying to chill out since Im TOTALLY STRESSED!!! WITH 2.5 WEEKS TO GO!!! Anyway, to no avail, Again we will not be staying in KINGSTON. Its not worth an argument so Ill just trust my sweetie & not stay overnight. He feels unsafe & that we will get robbed, car jacked, you name it. Sweetie had his medical this a.m. & all is well on this end. Now we just wait until the big final step.

hi everyone, i had my medical today and it was the most gruelling thing i have ever experience. i got there at 8:00 they open at 7:30 but didn't leave until 2:45 pm. the staff at the doctors office was very rude. all the best to eric today.

Thanks for sharing wow that took forever. Thank goodness my husband knows some doctors at MoBay where he will be getting his. The rotary act club has some good connections.

Rest In Peace. The runner of the Boys and Girls club in MoBay died last week POP! He will always be remembered for helping out the children in the not so good areas in MoBay and giving them a place off of the street. Pop was a wonderful man.

Yes it took forever. Thank goodness the CR1 went through fast and we will not have paper work for the next couple years.

Anna did you ever send off your I-129F or are you just sticking to the I-130?

Have any of you guys had a problem with with your spouse not wanting to go back to Jamaica for the next four years ? My husband stated last night that he would not be traveling back to the Yard untill 2010. I love Jamaica I want to go to Negril next year since I have never been . Would it be totally wrong to go without him  .

today i start the AOS paperwork....yippie....

ok i know a lot have asked about this...but the whole civil surgeon thing...what do i need to do with that....

Look under uscis.gov and get a list of Civil Surgeons near you. I had to call about 7 before i got one that would fill out just the vaccination form i-693a. Everyone else insisted he needed another medical. I spent 25.00 just to have the records tranfered. Go to the AOS section on VJ it gives you a step by step instruction list.

You need to go onto the USCIS website and find "Civil Surgeons" who are close to you. Then you need to start making phone calls to them to try to find one who is not going to charge you up the A#* to do the supplement. Mike DOES NOT need another medical (the one he had in Jamaica is good for one year) -- no matter what they might tell you. You just need the Vaccination Supplement (I-693a) filled out.

I remember looking all over the Internet for this form and could never find it. It's just one piece of paper that the Civil Surgeon will fill out and check off all the vaccinations that Mike has already have (did he get a copy of his vaccination form from his medical?). They might try to make you get more shots......then they will fill out the form and put it in a sealed envelope for you to send with the AOS package. MAKE SURE you get a copy from the Doctor before he puts it in the sealed envelope.

We found a Doctor who wanted to charge us $150.00 for the Supplement -- this was after calling about five who insisted on the full medical (for $350.00 or there-abouts). So, I went with this guy. Once he realized what we were actually there for and determined that Roy didn't need any more shots he just filled out the form and charged us $100.00. To me, yeah....it was a lot of money but at least we got it done and got it done right.

No new medical.....ONLY the Vaccination Supplement

Keep making calls. You will find someone......maybe you should post in the AOS forum.....someone near you might have found someone who didn't gouge them.
