EricDrewry, that is awesome news. Man I cant wait to here you say she has the visa. Seems like a long struggle for you both. Are they not asking her for another medical?? I know you will take copies of everything under the sun you sent to them.

Im glad to be American, but Im even more thrilled that I will have the opportunity to have Jamaican babies!!! The BEST of both worlds.

No they are not, that did surprise me, I figured with her case history they would want another. But they do have a clean one on file from April 2006, along with the police certificate and the Affidavitt of support, all of which are apparantly good for one year after submission.

Good afternoon, just stopping by to see if thinks are ok . Have a great day

lata

I do not wish to share any information about this dead end journey.........I have reached my final destination on this train, and it is time for me to get off.

THIS TOO SHALL PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"If marriage means you fell in love, does divorce mean you climbed out?"

"You never really know a man until you have divorced him."-Zsa Zsa Gabor

"When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife." Deuteronomy 24:1-2

"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." - Franklin D. Roosevelt

"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." - Helen Keller

"Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?" - Mary Manin Morrissey

"I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much." - Mother Theresa

Hey everyone! I just wanted to drop in and check to see how you guys were doing...I've been catching up on what's been going on, and I mainly want to say to Denden that no one here is without fault, therefore no one here can judge. As long as you continue to ask the Lord for guidance, wisdom, and strength--then His will will be done! I will be praying for you that you are able to accept the plans that God makes for you, no matter what they will be. And Eric--congratulations on the interview date...I'm sure that everything will be fine. Keep us posted! I should be coming in here more often--this was such a great place to get things off my chest that were bothering me...I had an impromptu counseling session with one of my clinical supervisors which helped alot really, so I'm thinking of maybe using our EAP program at work...who knows...there's just so much to do and so little time...

BTW, I have been trying to contact Sen. Mikulski for several weeks, but to no avail...I faxed her the details of my case (just to see if there was anything that could be done), but I've yet to hear from her. I've called a couple of times, but I haven't received a response. I did initially send her an email, and that's when she told me to fax her the information regarding the case which is what I did...and to think I helped to put her in office!! sheesh  Other than that things have been ok with me...it has actually been a little easier planning a wedding in Ja then planning one here...My best friend, goddaughter and I are going down next month to meet with the wedding coordinator and see what's available, etc...so I'm excited about that...and surprisingly, so is my fiance--although he's been driving me nuts because he SWEARS that he is not going to wear shoes! I was like BOOMBACLOT!! You will put those crusty Jamaican feet in some shoes!! lol... :help: that will be our battle!!! But I WILL WIN!!:yes: I have also recently been put on medication for hypertension, but that has been years in the making so I can't rightly blame all of this process on that...That's about all that's new for me...I wish everyone luck on their upcoming interviews

Peace and Love

Tamisha

I may be considered by the Jamaican government a Jamaican citizen, but I am the USC and sound like it. Unless I am singing Karaoke, (They call me either Sean Paul, or Eric Paul in Kingston and Mobay. I got the best reaction from the crowd a couple weeks ago in Mobay singing Tony Mattahorn's Dutty Wine)

One a dem... :)

Rhonda how was your trip? What was the best part of it? What did you guys do?

Thanks for asking. It was awesome!! We went on a catamaran cruise and snorkeled with giant sea turtles. We rented a little, bitty car and drove around the whole island. We went to a wild life reserve and saw lots of monkeys and other animals - the animals were NOT caged there so you could go right up to them as long as they didn't get scared and run away :D We did a LOT of relaxing and laying around by the pool and on the beach and swimming in the ocean. It was very nice but very expensive there! The best part was that it was hot and sunny - the total opposite of Michigan weather :dead:

How did Tony compare it to Jamaica? Barbados is absolutely beautiful.

Sorry to hear that. How long have you been with them? Are they offering any placement services? If you were closer to the MA border where I work always has lots of jobs.

I wish you all the luck in finding something good.

WE ARE DONE!!!
