Good morning everyone have a great day!

Good morning to you. In regards to the Police Cert. My sweetie did the express, but it was not avail. they said for 3 days at least. I believe it was because of the holidays, so dont fret. He went & picked it up a couple of weeks after ordering it without any problems.

As I look back he ordered it on 12/21 Thursday. Call them to confirm the expediency of the report so he wont have to wait overnight.

Thanks for the advice I will have him call the police station. Is the number somewhere on this site?

Try this #

TELEPHONE: 906-4908-33

FAX: 906-1724

E-MAIL: inform@infochan.com

These links have info:

So much good news!!! :energetic:

But I will have Neil write up an intent and we will just give it to them at the interview.... Hopefully it won't be a problem or too late.
It shouldn't be -- just make sure he has one for the interview. I would think that if it was a problem you wouldn't have gotten this far without it....no biggie.
we got an interview date as well, after stalking the embassy...the 6th of march. SOOO excited! :)

how much did his/her medical end up costing? we're just tying to estimate costs and i've heard it is about 250 on average...does that sound right?

  Congratulations on getting your date. It will be here before you know it!

The price for the medical is going to depend on how many shots are needed. I think it's easier (and cheaper) to get all the shots in JA. I think $250.00 is a good estimate. I made sure Roy had that much for his and it only ended up costing about $120.00. Better to be safe than sorry.

good evening / morning to everyone :)

so much great stuff happening with all the new dates...we got an interview date as well, after stalking the embassy...the 6th of march. SOOO excited! :)

i'm great vibes out to everyone still waiting...it is the hardest thing to wait and wonder what's going on...but it WILL start to move soon and it is so worth the wait...

i just have a quick question (for now, there are millions of them buzzing around my brain suddenly) - for those of you who have gone through the k-1 process, how much did his/her medical end up costing? we're just tying to estimate costs and i've heard it is about 250 on average...does that sound right?

thanks to everyone who has sent good energy and given such great info and advice...i would have checked into the loony bin by now if it wasn't for this space... :)

hey keishino. i will be at the embassy on the same day

OK, Im jealous.....I expect you both to promptly submit your reviews since I will be on pins & needles. Good luck.

I remember how it was when I was waiting....it's so easy to have people tell you to not worry  but you will....I did....we all do. Sometimes I wonder how I made it through that time. I will tell you that I couldn't have done it without the support here on VJ. NOBODY in "my life" could understand what I was going through.....this is where I found my support (F)

This is so true. You definitely need the support of people who have gone through it and to support the ones going through it.

I wouldn't be where I am now if I did not have the help, guidance and support of the wonderful people on this board.

If it weren't for this forum, I don't know how I would have made it this far. I have no support outside of this site and a few other cyber friends. Only my sister and one other friend of mine support me. My family knows about Neil... But they don't know about my journey. I wanted to go through this without any negative feed back from them.

It's funny....when I started looking into this process (before I found VJ) I was anxiously researching attorneys. I paid a few a "consultation fee" just to hear what they had to say. The way they made it seem there was NO WAY I could do this without them.

.....then I found VJ.....

I am glad I "wasted" the money I did doing the research but even happier that I didn't pay one any more than what I did. The help here on VJ is so much more valuable than what any attorney could have provided.

I totally understand. I couldnt imagine doing this without everyone or access to email or the web. Theres no way my sweetie could have done this--this far smoothly. He is shocked @ how much is required for this process. He keeps saying "so much work, so much paperwork". I cant wait to show him how to surf the web when he gets here. He'll be amazed. No one knows all the details of my newfound relationship. All they know is that he is coming to join me. Thanks you guys for keeping me sound.

Which was what I was told  and I reluctantly paid to have my I-129F processed for me  I was lead to VJ by a friend about a month after I paid. Once I got here and started reading and learning the process.... I seen I could have saved my money and done it myself
