lovelyjodie- Good for you. I hope things go extremely well. Ricardo, you are next my man. I keep getting roadblocks. Ticket prices have now doubled & my miles may not cover it. Darn it. Future Mrs. tell us what you have compiled so far, let us help you not get an RFE, you can email me privately if you like.

Okay so here is what I have and will submit:

Cover letter

I29F Application

G325 for both of us with all 4 pages signed and dated

Letter of intent for both of us signed and dated

Check in the amount of $170.00

16 photos of mostly us together with a couple with his family and his friend

Copies of bank statements that show each time I sent him a letter as well as my airline ticket purchase

Copies of 5 letters and envelopes from him

1 passport photo of each of us with our name on the back

My itenerary

Copy of 2 baggage tags, reciept from a duty free shop, and a copy of 1 of my boarding passes

Telephone bills from June-January of this year with all of the calls/texts highlighted

Copy of Marlon's divorce decree

Copy of my passport photo page and the stamped pages for my visit

Copy of my birth certificate both sides (the one with footprints)

A couple of emails he sent me

Some chat logs from June/July of last year

Text messages from Marlon

Yikes or yay? :wacko::help:

I think this is a total Yay!! Looks great. If you want to be super thorough, include all pages of your passport. Run through everything & make sure your official documents are signed. You can also add a quick statement - paragraph on how you met & why you want to marry.

I am wondering if Neil needs to summit a letter of intent also?? Or was that something that only the petitioner does? I am scrambling around trying to make sure that I have everything together.

Sonshyne, did you not have this in your original I-129f packet? If not both of you should have one. It would be even better if you each have it notorized. Letter of Intent to Marry

Good morning everyone have a great day!

Good morning to you. In regards to the Police Cert. My sweetie did the express, but it was not avail. they said for 3 days at least. I believe it was because of the holidays, so dont fret. He went & picked it up a couple of weeks after ordering it without any problems.

As I look back he ordered it on 12/21 Thursday. Call them to confirm the expediency of the report so he wont have to wait overnight.

I included one for myself, but we didn't do one for him  I am so glad for this site, the more I read the more I learn. I had someone prepare my I-129f for me, and she only told me to summit a letter of intent :angry: I wish I had come across this site before I summited my petition. I could have done this myself  I was told that the process was very difficult to do on your own.

But I will have Neil write up an intent and we will just give it to them at the interview.... Hopefully it won't be a problem or too late.

Thanks for the advice I will have him call the police station. Is the number somewhere on this site?

good evening / morning to everyone :)

so much great stuff happening with all the new dates...we got an interview date as well, after stalking the embassy...the 6th of march. SOOO excited! :)

i'm great vibes out to everyone still waiting...it is the hardest thing to wait and wonder what's going on...but it WILL start to move soon and it is so worth the wait...

i just have a quick question (for now, there are millions of them buzzing around my brain suddenly) - for those of you who have gone through the k-1 process, how much did his/her medical end up costing? we're just tying to estimate costs and i've heard it is about 250 on average...does that sound right?

thanks to everyone who has sent good energy and given such great info and advice...i would have checked into the loony bin by now if it wasn't for this space... :)
