I'm goign to stick with IDT - they raised the cell phone rate to 25 cents per call but to call him on the land line is 10 cents

IDT was wonderful but I just can't bring myself to paying .25 a minute.....unfortunately Roy only calls to cell phones.

I forgot to tell everyone this but if you have a CVS in your area they have Sprint International phone cards on sale, buy one get one free. So if you buy one for $20 you will get another $20 card free. Good deal. And if you recharge it at the store you get 10% more time added.

I just spoke to the people who operate the richcom.com website - the guy was really nice! He stated that the card has a hang-up fee, a maint. fee, and other fees. I asked about the price difference while I was asleep and he said it is a maint. fee and he suggests I use the card up right away so I don't get docked for not using it daily!

I asked about other cards on the site and he said they all charge extra fees!

There goes money down the tubes!!

That is the problem with some cards, all the hidden fees and they usually suggest to use it all at once to get the most time. You have to watch out for the rounding fees too. Some round up 3 minutes.....

I got only about 16 minutes on a $10 sprint card from CVS. I get 39 Minutes for a $10 (AT&T International Card at WalMart) Digicel

Check out www.sendtoglobal.com I believe the costs are about the same as AT&T, but much easier to use.

Still waiting on www.flowjamaica.com to come out with their Vonage type line with a Jamaica phone number. $0.15 to Digicel Free to MiPhones. I expect this to be available next month.

Okay I use mine everyday so the dollar amount has never gone down yet. So if I don't use it everyday it will go down?

No bad advice - just trial and error! I speak to him EVERYDAY but didn't use the full $20 but tonight I will talk to him until my money runs out!!

I am using a 5 dollar card every day. We use it up too. My last bill on IDT was 250 bucks. If we use a 5 dollar card a day for the month it comes to 140 bucks. So this is my method of saving and tracking time. One IDT I can't track my time and we talk for hours.

i would like to be sure that it actually takes about two months to get an interview for a CR-1 visa in jamaica because i gave up a job oppurtunity just yesterday. i need to be sure.

I would say about 2 months but who knows. Are you planning to go to the interview with him? Sorry you had to give up your job interview.

Well, hubby is glad it was sent back now he knows he will becoming up when its warm. He is so afraid of the cold.

Everyone have a good Thursday the weekends are upon us. It suppose to snow in the Chicago land area this weekend. This Sunday the snow should come just in time for the Bears game.

HAHAHA that is sooo cute!!!! he is afraid of the cold....what is he going to do next winter???

someone on the pre-game show i think it was Howie...not sure...he thinks it is going to be a Bears and Eagles..super bowl...wouldn't that be GREAT????

I guess he will have to learn to love the cold next winter and adjust. Too bad the winters are getting warmer and warmer here.

That would be awsome if the Bears went to the Superbowl. I am keeping my fingers crossed. They will never get this clost to the super bowl for a long time again. There schedule is going to be a lot tougher next year. We will see this Sunday!!

I haven't been up your way in awhile. I use to go to WI when there use to be snow to go snowmobiling at Eagle river during Martin Luther King weekend and Presidents day weekend. I switched jobs so now I get Predisdents day off but no Martin Luther King JR. There hasn't been snow on that weekend for a couple of years. WI is only like an hour away from here. I think I will be fine with proof of our relationship. We have 9 years of pictures, cards, and some phone records. Thanks for the heads up on that. I decided on the 5 dollar method a couple days ago when we ran out of time. It has worked these past couple days.

What is everyones plan for this weekend?
