I am gonna take this time to ask you a question:

How long after K3 approval do you have to get teh DS-156 etc to get teh interview.. I am aware that with the I130 you have up to 1 year to respond to them about the I130 at NVC but I am not sure about the K3 that is already at the embassy. So can any of you guys answer that?

Hi Marsha welcome back!! I am not sure about the K3 because I tossed mine out the window. My K3 hasn't even been approved and I thought that was the faster option ugh!! I just beleive the CR1 in all is the better visa with less paper work when he gets here.

Is your husband scared to move here? I hope all the best for you this year!!

Where ever its warm I would like to go there now. Winter is finally back in the Chicago area yard

I don't know how true it is as I have nothing on paper yet, but per a friend who is a congress woman in california, Our security clearance has been cleared and we should recieve our green card and thirty 30 days, in the mean time we can go to the immigration office to recieve a stamp. The web sites says our case is still pending. I cannot celebrate till I have something in writing but of course D is beyond happy.

Well, next month is coming fast and I want to know can I have it renewed ASAP. I never renewed my passport before...

Your local post office should have the form you need to fill out to renew it. You need to send in the current (expired) passport along with new pictures (I think) and the fee. Then they will mail you the new passport. I'm not sure how long it takes, but I'm sure for an additional fee you could have it expedited.

I just want to share.....Saturday is Roy's one year anniversary of coming to America. I can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday I was waiting for him to come through the doors at the airport.....this year has really flown by.....

You should be able to look at your NOA2 to see if there is a validation date. That will tell you how long you have left to do the K3 unless you extend it. Since he is not in any rush have you considered just following thru w/the CR1/IR1 thru NVC? Maybe by that time he will be ready?

I also remember you stated some time ago that you work for a call center in MoBay. If you don't mind me asking is it Sprint? I know they have an office over at freeport, I believe it's the finance dept.

It is super cold here too. I wish it were snowing. Cold and no snow boo-hoo.

I can undsertand my husband was the same way but we worked it out before we got married. I just gave an altimatum. It is now or never. My goodness after I said that in a year we were married and now he is looking foward to coming up. As long as he comes up when it isn't freezing like now..
