:dance:Good to see you Eric.....
Has anyone had to renew their Jamaican passport since they have been in the states? Roy's doesn't expire for a year (I'm a freak, I know )
He can get it renewed thru the Consulate. There is one downtown Chicago on Jackson but you have to be there very early. Sorry I meant to say King Dr. I was thinking of the immigration bldg. Check this website.
The Jamaican Consulate in Chicago it just for "looks." I have already been on their website. I know what we have to do I was just wondering if anyone has done it. We will need to send it to Washington DC for processing.

I have a friend that did (but that was a while back). I'm sure the procedures are pretty much the same but maybe you can look into it a little bit more.

Hello all,

How you doing????????????? :lol::lol::D

Happy New year to all ( sorry I am a little late) (F)(L):star: ,

I(despertewife) am not sure if you guys even remember who I am but I use to be on here a few months back avidly.

Sorry I have not been on here ina few months, needed sometime to be by myself, plus I couldn't stand not being the one having my husband come up or get his visa.

Well I am not sure where things stand right now but we are still undecided...well he still his undecided. Hurts because we are already married but heah you live and learn from your mistakes right  .

Best wishes, sincere wishes( ... etc_______________ you choose the one that you should get and fill it in):yes::lol:(F)(L)

welcome to all the new members and a big group hug to the veterens  How you doing *said in a very dragged out gay guy voice*

I am gonna take this time to ask you a question:

How long after K3 approval do you have to get teh DS-156 etc to get teh interview.. I am aware that with the I130 you have up to 1 year to respond to them about the I130 at NVC but I am not sure about the K3 that is already at the embassy. So can any of you guys answer that?

Hello Eric glad to see you .

Please

Thanks

Good afternoon all!! It's sunny here but it's still a little crisp.

I have a question too.... I plan to fill out the DS230 and the rest of the forms and send them. Can I mail the DS230 directly to the Embassy or does it have to be hand delivered? Also does his signature have to be hand written or can it be typed in?

I am also wondering about the mailing issue, I am going to send it through DHL. Being that they don't have housing addresses there, does that mean that we can't send the package to the local post office where they receive the mail?

I know these questions were already addressed.... But I am still not quite clear on how to go about it.

Sorry :(:help:

Passports:

My daughter passport expired Feb 05 but she was able to travel w/me to JA in Oct. At the airport the lady told us she would be fine b/c she can still travel on it up to a year after it expires. I dont' know if it's b/c I had no idea it had expired or b/c she was only a child. Well, next month is coming fast and I want to know can I have it renewed ASAP. I never renewed my passport before...my parents always did since I had one since I was a child. My daughter got hers a while back when I sent her to JA to live w/my grandmother. I read online that I can renew thru mail but it has to be before her passport is expired. Are they talking about the expiration date on the passport or the later date?

An original signature is needed on the form. If you had the form signed you could send it.

The post office seperates the mail and he can go in as as for mail in his name. If it comes from the Embassy he will probably be asked for an ID. Some people have a PO box number some people just use the PO in their town.

No street number or name sounds strange to us but that is how it is there. The Post Office will know what to do.

WE ARE DONE!!!
