AND =--= there was a time when people were talking about "certified photos" -- I don't think anyone here ever got their photos "certified" in fact, I'm not sure we ever figured out what that was suppose to be. I know Roy didn't do that and we had no problems.[/color]

Trinilad -- It's so nice to hear Iffiesha is doing well.

Craig got his signed by a JP. I told him he didn't *have* to, but he wanted to to be on the safe side.

I found a phone card for 7 cents a minute. It is on the web site http://www.therichcom.com/ and I used the I Chat phone card. IDT was painful at 25 cents a minute pinzoo still painful. I wanted to find a price like the old IDT card and I did. This will save us a few pretty pennys.

Playoffs are on in a half hour whoopie!! Even though the Bears are off I want to see who is going to win today in the wildcard playoffs..

What's up yaardies fam! I haven't been here in a while, but honestly, I've just been going through a whole lot since the fiasco back in Dec...you know, when things don't go according to plan, your entire existence can be thrown totally out of whack---but slowly, I am trying to get back to some routine and get myself together for the next step in this process...I've see since I've been gone that I've offended some folks....to that I say....Sorry...I felt what I felt, just like you felt what you felt....if that offended you, wasn't intentional...for the rest of you---GOOD LUCK on your upcoming journeys into the new year....for the record, I am NOW planning a destination wedding to Runaway Bay for Oct. of this year...we are not going to let anything negative get in the way of our wanting to be together and celebrate in love!! I will keep you posted with further plans--and if any of you are down there and want to drop by--FEEL FREE!!! I'm actually more excited now about the wedding being down there and having my family and friends experience all of the joy, beauty, and love that is JAMAICA!

Hello family.

Damien and I celebrated 2 our anniversary today  Looking forward to many more...

My mother reserved a nice hotel room for us last night. I decided to keep it a secret from Damien. My friends decorated the room with balloons, rose petals, heart shaped confetti, and Hershey Kisses (heart shape on the bed). They also put Appleton rum, chocolate fondue with strawberries and oils for massages in our room. We had a wonderful night. Damien was pleasantly surprised.

Hi all, and good evening,

I just wanted to share Lake took two of his GED tests before he left and I just got the results in the mail day before yesterday. He PASSED science, but missed social studies by ONE question! eeeesh! But at least now he has two of the five under his belt, and should be able to pass the social studies one when he comes back.

One thing I forgot to do, and it would have probably made him pass, as I should have requested the test in large print. He has a hard time seeing close up, has never got reading glasses and I totally didnt think about it, even tho I had read you can request it. Poor baby, when I went to pick him up afterwards, his eyes were totally bloodshot from reading all the small print. Stupid on my part, cuz I am SURE it would have improved his test scores, as the teacher said his biggest prob is reading too slow. NOW I am wondering if thats becuz he has such a hard time seeing small print. His vision is totally awesome far away, but reading is another thing entirely. Darnit! Kicking myself here...

The english is the one I worry about. I considered myself pretty good and when I went to take the practice test, it blew me away. They want things like meanings of a phrase in a poem, etc. How in the world is he supposed to interpret THAT kind of stuff. Gee whiz!He never grew up learning any poetry. Sigh....

Well, I got tired of being here in all the snow and bad weather and booked mom myself an sis on a hawaii cruise. We surely do need a break. The only thing is I wasnt thinking and booked us on Continental, where is where I caught this scourge in the first place. Now I am a bit terrified to fly on that plane. Same flight too, probably same plane. EEEEKS, what WAS I thinking? I didnt realize it was same airline/plane til I looked at last tickets I had from last year. I guess I will just wear some very strong essential oil and hope for the best. It would be too expensive to rebook at this point. Sheesh! My mind is not all here, I swear.

Take care all, keep safe and well

Jill

If I'm not mistaken you can cancel your medical and interview and ask for a reschedule for a later date. If you're not sure about his ganga status then I'd look into doing that then to risk testing positive and being banned for 3 years because of it.

How can you cancel the medical if you're already done it? I've never heard of that  Has anyone ever done this? If you can do it, I would recommend it for the case in question for sure!

I went to a Caribbean night last Friday and two girls tried to pick me up :o Damien could not stop laughing.....boy, was I upset.

If I may ask a personal question, why were you so upset? I would take it as a compliment which I'm sure it was. I have a friend who's a lesbian and I've been to gay bars with her on occasion and if someone hit on me, I just said I'm sorry, I'm straight and that was it.

I'm probably opening a can of worms here, but it may be a very interesting topic!
