Hi to all---

I just checked the NVC automated service and dem seh dat they sent off the paper to kingston embassy!!!!! Alright!!! I know how the embassy likes to be closed on holidays but i would like to know when they have recieved the papers,when do you guys think it's a good time to contact them and what do i do from here? I know we can get an email with the interview date but is that all from here? What will the consulate need from us?

The Embassy should also be closed Tuesday, January 2nd as a National Day of Mourning for Former President Gerald R. Ford.

I have a 4 day weekend :dance: .

Hi all thanks for asking about Dwain. His feet are now infected the meds he was on were not working. So we went to see the doctor today and got stronger meds. The feet look bad I told him I don't want no footless husband he to young :lol: !! Anyways I will be leaving here in a bit for my flight. Off to go old Chicago. I won't be back for a few days family and I are staying in a hotel in the city and watching a few plays and of course the Bears Game on New Years Eve. Da Bears.

10/06 * Receive package and date for INTERVIEW November 9, 2006

11/06 * Ricardo waits too long to get police report -- we cant do our interview

I just spent an hour discovering and reading this thread. I dont feel so alone anymore. Tanks. I need to share, if its ok. I began the process in April 2006. After several delays we finally got our interview date, November 9th. Unfortunately my fiance messed up and wasnt ready with his police report in time so he didnt do the interview. I have talked to people at the embassy twice and they keep saying another month, another month. Yesterday I got an email that said they wouldn't be able to schedule him for an interview until February. I am about ready to explode. I dont know where I am going to find more patience. Several of you suggested that it is better that I go to the interview with him. I am worried since I am twice his age and that might make them suspicious. It makes everyone else suspicious. I welcome and help and/or kind words.
