Plus been in a domestic situation like that yeeeeears ago Stephen and I don't intend to ever go back there again!!!! Until you have been IN that type of situation....that's just WAAAY crazy !!!

Thanks for your opinion/advice.....

Kelly

Kelly, I think that he was just giving you an example of how you could get out of the situation, not actually create a "violent" situation. ;)

Any man(or woman) that is married and uses another woman for "favors" whether it be money or whatever is no good. I don't care what other qualites that he has that are endearing to you. The "handwriting is on the wall". Sorry.

I'm sorry if I'm offending Kelly or anyone else but I wouldn't say anything if I didn't care enough.

I really don't mean to single out one person here because I know there are some may very well find themselves in the same position.

Whatever decision Kelly makes, I sincerely wish her well.

No offense taken.

but I KNOW that there are several women on here that have gone (or are going) through what "I" am going through (not to this extreme)....some have made it, and some are still trying............but "I" have had the courage to post "my" entire f**d up situation!!!

Well put Kelly  I have the utmost respect for you for standing up and putting your business out there - the good, the bad, and the ugly. Even if it helps one other person out there to know that they are not the ONLY ones having trouble with their relationship. Everyone is so scared to talk about the negative aspects of these relationships - almost as if they think if the speak about it out-loud then they can't keep convincing themselves that everything is paradise. I KNOW for a fact that there has been at least 4 other couples on the Yardie thread that have split up since coming to the U.S. but yet Joanna (bless her heart) was the ONLY one woman enough to tell us the TRUTH!!!

Well, Mr man had a slight temper and aggravated enough he would react. So she she set about the task of aggravating him until he became violent. He was arrested on domestic violence charges. It gave her a cause to take out a protective order which did not allow him to return to the house pending the outcome of the case. The law against foreigners are strict. He was not released and was subsequently deported to jamaica even before the case was completed. She filed for divorce and he was not here to defend himself and the domestic violence case was enough evidence.

This is just completely CRAZY!!! It is women like this who "cry wolf" that make it bad for women everywhere with REAL, LEGIT domestic violence problems  Now he is going to have this on his record forever and will never be able to enter the U.S. again - all because this women cried wolf. There are other ways to end things amicably without stooping to this level.

It sure would have been nice to know about Eric's case. I wonder if they were denied  Why else would he not have come back to let us know what went on.

I was thinking the same, exact thing. But he could of at least told us what was going on <_<

...in my opinion I don't believe that Kelly is ready to give up on her marriage yet. That's totally up to her because she has to make her own decisions. I believe that she's using the comments made by others to show to Craig to "prove" to him that he's not acting in an appropiate manner to get him to shape up.

Kelly's inclined to think that things are ok now since other other woman is seemingly out of the picture; but I'm afraid that it's only a temporary improvement to her marriage.

So Michele, how's YOUR relationship going? Have you filed yet? You seem so inclined to comment on everyone else's relationships, but you never talk about your OWN. How do you know whether it's a "temporary improvement" to her marriage? Maybe you should take Kelly's lead and share some personal info. of yours.

Thanks Stephen, but I'm handling this situation the best way that I can (and know how). Yes, I'm not happy, but I'm also soooooooo busy that I truly don't have time to worry about it. Craig doesn't do this *uckery stuff all the time, just some of the times....we have ALOT of laughs and have great great talks. We've talked about Mississippi and it was alll about money and she strung him along saying she'd help. WHO KNOWS what went on with this woman and WHY she felt like she HAD to continue to call him and yes HE needed to be the one to stop it....but I DID and it's done !!!

I will NOT let this situation get "violent" like that just to get him to leave....sorry, not my way of handling things!! Plus been in a domestic situation like that yeeeeears ago Stephen and I don't intend to ever go back there again!!!! Until you have been IN that type of situation....that's just WAAAY crazy !!!

Thanks for your opinion/advice.....

Kelly

Well I'm not going to endear myself to anyone by what I'm about to say but here goes...in my opinion I don't believe that Kelly is ready to give up on her marriage yet. That's totally up to her because she has to make her own decisions. I believe that she's using the comments made by others to show to Craig to "prove" to him that he's not acting in an appropiate manner to get him to shape up. Which he probably does for a while. I'm not going to pretend to know everything that goes on in their household and Kelly has stated that they do have some good times together. I don't believe that if someone is really determined to end a relationhip that they have to go to extremes. However I know that when I was really ready for a relationship to end I would do whatever was necessary, barring breaking the law or breaking my moral conscienceness, to end it. Kelly's inclined to think that things are ok now since other other woman is seemingly out of the picture; but I'm afraid that it's only a temporary improvement to her marriage.

Men and women will hit on married people and not care one iota about their marital status. My former husband was a body builder and men always hit on me in his presence. A lot of times older men would offer me things that my husband couldn't afford to give me at that time. I never once entertained the thought. We never had to worry about each other because of our devotion to each other and our marriage vows. We were both married at a very young age too.

I agree with you that she is not ready to leave the marriage. I going out on a limb here and people may kill me for saying this but I think she likes the attention that she is getting from everyone on the thread. I am not saying this to be mean. I am just saying it like I see it. Not many people would put up with such BS. I know I wouldn't and I am not the USC.

Have at it...

LIKE THE ATTENTION ????? Now YOU are a total trip !!!!! It's called SUPPORT, ADVICE, opinions, etc...... shoot at least "I" am putting my business "out there" to help others that may be (or might go through) the same situation. I've been on this site since May of last year and ask those that know me know that I never really ever put my business out there, but I KNOW that there are several women on here that have gone (or are going) through what "I" am going through (not to this extreme)....some have made it, and some are still trying............but "I" have had the courage to post "my" entire f**d up situation!!!

Thanks for the laugh though !!!

I know for a fact that Kelly is actually one who doesn't put her business out there. She mistakenly replyed to someone else and it somehow got posted so that everyone on this forum could see her personal message. It was at that time the "cat was let out of the bag". From that point on since everyone chimed in; including myself, to try and give her advice. I feel that she is at her wits end and it doing what she feels is best. Kelly is absolutely right. She is not the only one who has gone through this and hopefully if someone can see themselves in her posts they can take notice and really examine if this truly is the right relationship for them.

How do I know if it's a temporary improvement? I don't. It is very possible that Craig has seen the error of his ways and they can move on from here and build up their marriage. I hope for Kelly's sake that they can and Kelly knows that.

I didn't know that I was commenting on everyone else's relationships, other to offer encouragement to those going through the process. However I will check on my previous posts to see if I am commenting inappropriately, and if I'm guilty, thanks for pointing it out; and I will put myself in check.

By being so candid; Kelly has indeed probably done a great service to some who may see the same thing in their own relationship and take heed. My point was she is getting a lot of "dump him" comments. If and when she's ready she will; if not then that's her business too.

If I think the details of my relationship or lack thereof will benefit you; I'll let you know.

I'd rather be lonely and have peace of mind, than to have a piece of man and no peace at all.

Even if it helps one other person out there to know that they are not the ONLY ones having trouble with their relationship. Amen Sister!!!

Kelly -- I feel the same as Rhonda. Yeah, it might have been a mistake with that PM that put this out in the open -- that sucked -- BUT, you have continued to post your "experience" and I believe you have helped (or are going to help) many people who might find themselves in the same situation.

Me personally -- I am behind you 100% in whatever choice you make. You want him to stay -- I will support you. You want him to leave -- I will support you. YOU are the only person who can make this decision -- YOU are the only person who knows what is best for you and your son. Kelly, you're not a 14 year old girl this being your first relationship. In the end, whatever you choose to do -- it will be the right thing (L)

Just one more thing then I will shut up -- you have had the courage to go on airing your "dirty laundry" on this site. You could have just disappeared like so many others before you and none of us would be the wiser. That takes guts. Thank you for that!!

There is nothing unique about this situation. This is not an immigration issue. This is a respect issue, Between a man and his wife. I agree with Mindy........Like my mother tell's me. I love who you love. We all know our breaking points. I agree that Kelly is not ready to leave her marriage. It's her choice. I put up with an assssshole for years before I left.(No reference toward anyone here) When I left people where like what happened?? I never complained never said a word. Never believed in divorce either, when your done your done. You won't have to ask for opinions, suggestion, ect. Your just done.

I agree 100%. Whether Craig was American, Mexican, Bulgarian, whatever - it comes down to respect. As far as the comments that others have made and things are getting heated...I know that everyone is entitled to their own opinion but again it's Kelly's situation. Again Kelly I give you 100% support and I wish the best for you, your son, and Craig.

What is everyone else doing for the holidays?

We will be in LA for a few days then fly to my brothers who lives near Sacarmanto for Newyears. It will be my first christmas away from my children

You'll be close to me, I live in Sacramento.
