Latest Headlines From the Embassy

U.S. Embassy Moves to New Embassy Compound

All offices of the United States Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica, with the exception of USAID and Peace Corps, will be moving the week of December 11-15, from their current locations at 2 and 16 Oxford Road, to the new U.S. Embassy building at 142 Old Hope Road in Liguanea. The Embassy plans to re-open for normal operations Monday, Dec. 18, with the important changes below.

Consular Services Notice

During the week of December 11, the American Citizen Services Unit (ACS) will only be open for routine services on Wednesday and Thursday, December 13 and 14 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. ACS will remain available for emergency services throughout the move. American citizens requiring emergency assistance during this period should contact the Embassy at (876) 935-6000. ACS will reopen permanently on Monday, December 18 with new public hours from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m., Monday to Friday. As always, all consular offices are closed to the public on U.S. and Jamaican holidays. (more)

Everything is going ok here in the good ol' pacific northwest. Getting ready for Christmas and all that good stuff. Andre's mom will be visiting with us for 2 weeks over christmas and new years so your prayers for sanity, peace, and self control will be greatly appreciated

I feel your pain. I've been trying to recruit all of my friends and family to go to Aruba with us. Damien's mother lives there and I don't look forward to this trip. Hopefully everything will go smooth.

Ok let me take a guess on this one...

Squitto is off pursuing her photography career so she can become super rich to buy all of us Yardies our VJ resort in JA.

Julie and Michael had their "real" wedding in Negril and decided they were going to stay in JA and live forever...bring on the suntan lotion

Now for Elizabeth...she is either off making tons of babies...or she is planning on adopting a bunch like Brangelina.

Jamie...well she is a loose cannon...you never know with her

I haven't done it but I do think it would be sexy. I would love to do it but I just haven't gotten up the courage. I think with guys being very visual they would appreciate it ten times more than we could ever imagine.

Thanks. I took a striptease aerobics class at my gym....it's again this Saturday. It is a true workout and very sexy. I don't know if I have enough courage to show Damien yet...his birthday is Monday.

My belly dancehall classes have really helped me to open up. But stripping is different...

Anyhows....I will have to take out another loan in order for him to do this, so....so far, even tho he has worked for 4 months, it will cost everything he has made so far, then plus he wants some "extra" (like $5,000) to pay back his brother. The loan I am getting is at 24%...yikes! We are in pretty deep straights, with him doing this right at this time.

That is absolutely CRAZY!!! You should not have to take out a loan for him to go on vacation!! Especially a loan with a 25% interest rate And he's going to lose his great job that pays well and has good benefits?? I would say no way You said it yourself, he was just there in Jan. for 5 whole weeks! That's more time than Tony has been back to JA COMBINED on his last 3 trips back home!!!

The instructor doesn't show us how to remove clothing...just to how to dance sexy with clothes on. Your SO should take your clothes off when the dance is over...at least that's the goal I think.

My belly dancing class is also very sexy...I've showed Damien some of my moves (with a few shots of Appleton of course) and he loves it. His birthday is this weekend so I want to surprise him with something new.
