Hi!

Any ideas?

Hey Jamie. I would call ;)

I don't think anyone knew. Remember I work at Walgreens and they never close... A lot of ppl cld in but I only have a few vacation days left and I'm using them around X-mas to spend the break w/my daughter. Not only that I have been putting in some serious OT and I was not about to let one day change that to regular pay. I need all the loot I can get w/this whole immigration process....

Hey Anna. Sorry to hear about your horrible day. I would have lost right at the point where I was told to go back home

Also, the Jamaican "rudeness"......that's a TOUGH one to break !!!! He tells me ALL the time I'm toooo nice!!! I said you can't go to the store or food place and say GIVE me....whatever ........you HAVE to say please and thank you!!!

We sort of have this problem as well. D thinks the sales person or who ever should drop whatever or whoever to come help him  I keep telling him how rude it is to interrupt folk who are helping others. He still hasn't gotten it :help:

well it is finally in the 30's mike went outside with just a zipper up sweatshirt and came running back....:lol: it was just toooooo cute for words....we are off to a craft show first then the mall wish us luck that i don't come back home with a frozen Jamaican

I guess he didn't realize just how cold it was :lol:

:lol: Yes how cute. This weekend D was like how can it be so sunny out side and still be so cold :hehe:

Well, if only I could learn more about the elusive and bossy Jamaican man! rofl :help:
:lol::wacko::lol:

:lol::hehe::lol:

My husband is wanting a car so bad when he gets here. What did you ladies do about this issue?

D bought a car shortly after his arrival. Used funds from a tour van he sold in JA. It was such a life saver. It's an automatic. It has kept him very busy. He washes everyday, he has put new speakers in twice. Nothing like a man and his best friend. It don't it would have mattered if it was a stick or not. It was his descision, seeing how they don't have much control over anything else when they get here, I wouldn't make a big deal about it

Bears win Yippee we are the Champions of the NFC north division. Boy it was a nice cold one today. Dressed up in my snowmobile suit. I called myself Marshmellow woman...

I can't wait for these 2 1/2 weeks to be over so I can go to JA for Christmas.

My husband is wanting a car so bad when he gets here. What did you ladies do about this issue? He wants a manul versues an automatic too. I just don't know about the manul I have never driven one and think automatic would be better. I would like to save and get a car for him as soon as possible but I still have a year of car payments left on my car.

Everyone have a goodnight!

Good Afternoon All!

Javon wants the same thing. I also have a year left on my payments so I was thinking of giving him my car and buy a new one for myself. When I talked to him about it he said it was cool b/c he was always thought that the woman is always suppose to have the newest car. Well, I never heard that before...but he don't have it say it twice, it's cool w/me.

Hello Family!!!

It feels liek I have been gone for so long and I have waaaayyy to much reading to catch up on!! I hope everyone is doing well. We have been good for the most part. The medical issue (eating chicken bones) has cleared up and we are permanently off of chicken bones!!!!

We just found out yesterday that Duane's son was taken to England by the son's mother!!! (wicked women) I guess she left on Thursday but she left no forwarding address or phone number. :( Duane almost fainted when he heard. His eyes filled with water and I could not get him to talk or eat all day. He just sat in the house quiet all day..... His mom is going to file a police report in Ochi and I called the Jamaican embassy in Washington DC today and will call the American Embassy in England later. I just do not know what else we can do. Duane had custody of his son and raised him a lone until 1 year ago. We filed the paperwork already for his son and we were just waiting to get the birth certificate sorted out. He is just so hurt and devasted and I do not know what else to do.......Any idea????

ALSO......We have our AOS interview this Thursday and I want to make sure that I have everything ready. I also had a question about the EAD.

We filed in September and we have not received any information about the EAD. Can we inquire about this status at the AOS interview?

Also.....I gathered the following items. What else is needed/missing for the interview:

Original Marriage certificate.

Wedding Photos

Additional Misc Photos

Copy of bills with both our names

Copy of SS card for husband

Copy of Joint Bank Account Statement

New Updated Employment/Income Verifcation

Copy of my last two recent paystubs

Anything else??????

I appreciate your help!!

With the I-130 you don't need many pictures and when you send the I-129F you don't need any evidence if you are married just a copy of the I-130 reciept.

Kim, I'm glad Duane's health has improved  I am so sorry to hear that Duane's son's mother took him to England without not prior notice; it's just not right. I know Duane must be devastated as he was so close to his children and missed them terribly. I hope you can get this unfortunate situation resolved soon.

Best wishes on your interview on Thursday too.

Ann- I hope George's visa is in hand by Wednesday.

It may be a good idea for those whose interviews are yet to be sheduled to wait to book their SO's flight after the visa in in hand or wait a couple of weeks or so after the interview. It seems like it's taking much longer now for the visas to be delivered than in the past.

Best wishes to all with upcoming interviews or watiing for interview dates.

I am sooooo sorry to hear that Kim. I will keep you two in prayer. What an evil woman to do that :(

In regards to EAD - you can inquire about it but once you receive the actual greencard you won't need the EAD anymore.

AOS interview - birth certificates, letter(s) from family/friends in support of your relationship, copies of AOS forms and of medical supplemental (JUST IN CASE )...I believe that's it. I brought down copies of my K1 and AOS packet but interviewer had everything. Good luck!
