well we started our black friday adventure at 12am....the outlets near my parents openend up at 12 and they had a final count of about 20,000 people were there between 12 and 3....it was CRAZY!!!!!!!!

ok here is the low down on what is up with mike and the visa...

call airpack this morning still didn't get it....so i got the number for the embassy and called and couldn't get a human to save my life...called my mom all frustrated so somehow she got a hold of one of the ladies...and well at first they couldn't find him in the system...then after 5 mins they found him and said oh yes it is here at the embassy ready to be picked up....so my mom said you are 100% sure it will get picked up on monday and the lady said mam nothing is 100%....well that was the WRONG thing to tell my mom...as my dad said the lights started to blink the house started to shake... and my mom just spilled out all of my frustration as well as hers and the lady said oh well sorry it is here to be picked up...

so i called airpack as soon as my mom told me and they said oh we don't have it and i said i know cause it is at the embassy....so is there going to be another pick up....mind you it was like 2.....and the person said oh no not until monday because we already did our pick up for the day....so i guess they only do it once and i guess that is in the morning  so after pleading with her to go like 5 mins away to pick up the papers and her saying no sorry...i said fine have a great day...and talk to you on monday at 12....i swear this whole thing is just horrible....mike had to move out of his apartment and is living in a tiny house with no plumbing and it just brings tears to my eyes cause it just sucks.....tomorow is his birthday and we had all these plans....i guess we will have to save them for later......

i know these problems happen to other couples but it just seems any road block the could happen....happened....on monday i am definatly going to call my senator and complain that something needs to be done....there really is no reason why it should take as long as it does to get these visas out and processed.....anyway sorry for the long vent.....but i just needed to vent!!!!

UNBELIEVABLE!! My heart is breaking for the both of you for everything they have put you through.

My prayers to you that he gets it on Monday and will be here shortly thereafter.

I am sure you are sick of hearing this but hang in there girl. He will be here soon.

Visa #: Could that be the "Control Number" -- at the top right corner of the visa. <Let me know where you need to put it and I will check our paperwork>

A #: That is the number that you were assigned when you got the initial K1 approval. It's not actually "on" the Visa -- they (someone, I assume at the Embassy) hand wrote his A# right above his visa in the passport. If your's is not there check on the NOA1 or NOA2.....it will also have been on the Interview Letter.

Hey Jax!

Patriots and the Bears today. That is going to be a good game.

I'll be thinking of you.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Back to the old grind tomorrow.

Jamaica was wonderful. We were so lucky with the weather. It rained before we got there and for the next 9 days it was beautiful sunshine and on Monday it rained all day so it was a good day to go shopping and on Tuesday when we left it was raining and it has been raining since. Flooding and mudslide everywhere.

Mobay airport has changed a great deal ever since I was last there in July.

An entire new section is now open for departures. The road to Ochie is progressing nicely. A few new places in town. We missed Beenie Man at Amnesia a few days before we got there.

Finally made it to Port Antonio but was very dissapointed with Boston Beach and Boston Jerk. The Blue Lagune (sp??) was closed. Trident Castle was awesome.

Went to the future in-laws for dinner.

All in all it was nice. Now that Bert is coming I don't know when I will make it back. Since he has only spent two Christmas holidays at home in the last 10 years I couldn't insist him coming here after we got the visa. And his birthday is January 1st. Oh well, I will get to spend it with him next year.

Still drying out the liver...

Hope everyone has a nice day.

WE ARE DONE!!!
