March 7, 2005 - Received EAD in the mail

April 4, 2005 - Received notice of interview date for AOS

July 26, 2005 - Interview date for AOS!!!

August 12, 2005 - Received NOA for Permanent Residency

August 15, 2005 - Received Green Card in mail!!

June 4, 2007 - Mailed I-751 form to lift "conditions" - it arrived at NSC on June 6

June 11, 2007 - Check cashed

June 21, 2007 - Received NOA1 and Biometrics appt. letter

July 14, 2007 - Biometrics appt. (after re-scheduling)

April 2, 2008 - got an e-mail that our case was transferred to California!

May 12, 2008 - got an e-mail that our case is APPROVED!!

May 17, 2008 - Received Green Card in the mail! No more Immigration for TEN YEARS!!

December 6, 2007 - Monique Savannah is born!! 6 lbs. 13 oz.

ok i swear the embassy or airpack has it in for us....mike didn't get it today :(:angry:

i called airpack as of 4 pm they hadn't recieved any packets with a interview on thursday afternoon...

and the embassy i closed for the holiday...sssoo possibly friday he could get it....i just don't understand why this process has just been hard for us....i just want to sit down and cry cause i swear it isn't fair....

so here i go again waiting for a couple more days for the visa.... :blink:

BTW....happy turkey day.....turkey for you and turkey for me.... :lol:

I totally know how you are feeling. Roy was suppose to fly here 1/7 -- he called me on 12/30 and said his aunt passed and he needed to say for the services. So....I know what the delay feels like. You're upset and sad......just plain pissed off. Try to put on a happy face and have a good Thanksgiving. He will be here before you know it!!

This is only a minor set-back..... (L)

We decided to go to my aunt's house for dinner then to Damien's friend house for some good Jamaican food.

Michele - I'm working Friday too. I didn't take off because I thought Damien had to work. He just started his job on Monday and he has today and tomorrow off...two paid days off.

I set my clock for 4:30 am :hehe: . When the alarm went off i was raring to go!!!! Back to sleep that is Yardies I just couldn't do it :lol: . Now I am at work thanking GOD that I stayed at home. Wish me luck on my journey the interview is Tuesday. For all thoughs that braved BLACK FRIDAY my hats off to you :D
