LLLLMMMAAAOOOO @ MR. MIKEY

Congrats my girl (F)

MR. MIKEY is COMING HOME :D:dance::D
We couldn't see the green on the tree and it was leaning over because the decorations were too heavy.

:lol::lol::lol:

He also wanted to buy more decorations for the regular Christmas tree. He become really upset when I asked if he can tone it down this year. So I'll be wearing sunglasses in our house :help:

 good luck!

Hi all,

Just thot I would check in. Please put in prayers for our fam, we are still fighting this terrible scourge and I have no idea what to do other than pray about it.

Its a horrible thing, and its not scabies. I know the power of mass prayers, so please, I have been almost suicidal about this thing, as one just doesnt know what to do after they have done all they can do.

Thanks a lot

Love

Jill and fam

We will definitely keep you in prayer :(

Missed you too Mindy (L)

We went driving when he first got here, and with the exception of remembering to stay on the right side of the road, he was pretty good behind the wheel. Now when he gets his license and he's in the car alone is another story  and send Roy - he and Drew can drive together

Jonesie -- I've missed you (L) Roy will be showing up at your place early next week -- you are a much better person than I.....I am SCARED TO DEATH to drive in the car with Roy :hehe:

I don't know how we're gonna do our first tree. Usually I get out all the old ornaments from 15+ years ago and make it work LOL LOL but this year maybe we'll do a theme. I would like tropical colors (mango, fuschia, turquoise) but doubt I'll be able to find ornaments in those colors at a decent price.

In regards to the color trees, frosted trees are very popular here in California. My grandmother has done pink, white, purple, blue - if they will frost it she will buy it. I prefer the natural look, but not sure about what D will want when we go looking.

Hello All!

I guess I will add on to the Christmas tree discussion... actually this will be the first year we will even be in the states. For the 3 years we have been married (and even before then) we have always been in jamaica. Last year we went back for his CR-1 interview( wow it's been almost ayear!) Anyway.....back on track...I really want to do it up this year. I want Ricardo and I to take the kids to pick out a tree and cut it down ourselves. Then we can all decorate it. I think we may have a bit of trouble deciding on the color scheme but that's a part of the fun I guess. Makayla is only 2 months so she doesn't have a clue but the boys are almost 2 now and i think they would really get into it!

I spent alot of my childhood Christmas' in Southern California -- I LOVE the colored flocked trees. That's is something I have NEVER seen in the midwest. Maybe that's why I just had to have a colored tree...

Hello Yardies Family!

Just checking in to say hi and Happy Thanksgiving........We have been busy lately and so I have no time to sit and chat...I miss that!!!

I had too many pages to catch up so I just wanted to say hi and congrats to Shauna and Mike!!!!

Also......just a word of caution for all your husbands/men that eat chicken bones...........we spent the evening in the emergency room last night and we are going back in for more testing next week. Duane has been bleeding really bad and they think it might be related to the chicken bones. Apparently, they sliver like wood no matter how good they are chewed and they can do major damage to the intestines..... :(:(

The doctor told Duane today that he must STOP eating the bones immediately!!!!!! It could cause life threatening problems..........so......we will keep you posted on the health issue but we are praying he will get better. His last blood count was low so we are watching it closely and they will admit him if it gets worse....... :(

Just be safe everyone and have a great Holiday!!!

OY VEY!! I sure hope he is okay!!! I know chicken bones are bad for dogs because they splinter -- never heard of it doing anything to people. My mother, grandmother and Roy eat them all the time....
