I have a seven foot purple x-mas tree -- when I first got it I put it up and didn't take it down for five years My living room is purple so it actually became part of my "decor." Whenever I saw ornaments (all year) I would buy them and put them on the tree. When I knew Roy was coming I took it down. I really do want to put it back up for Christmas but I am afraid I won't want to take it down again....I just love it!![/color]

I wanna see pictures too I've seen pink Christmas trees so I can imagine a purple one but is your furniture purple? I've never seen a purple living room....sounds beautiful.

Speaking of Christmas trees.....I use to decorate ours (back in my single days) with two colors every year. Yes, I'm plain and boring.

Last year Damien wanted to be in charge of the Christmas tree decorations. He was so excited because he never had a Christmas tree in JA. He brought EVERY multi-colored ornaments, flashing light bulbs, etc We couldn't see the green on the tree and it was leaning over because the decorations were too heavy. I couldn't look at it because it made me dizzy It was a horrible sight but his smile was priceless .

Well yesterday he wanted to buy a pre-lit Christmas palm tree He wants to decorate it more and put it in our bedroom He also wanted to buy more decorations for the regular Christmas tree. He become really upset when I asked if he can tone it down this year. So I'll be wearing sunglasses in our house

It is raining SOOOOO hard outside right now!! I hate it!!! I wish I were in Jamaica right now soaking up some sun, listening to some good music, watching my man cook (he's a pro in the kitchen ), and drinking on a magnum...I'll just have to wait a couple more weeks before I can make THESE dreams come true...

I wish the same thing everyday rain or shine I see you will be going soon.... Lucky you My next trip won't be until after the new year The flights are too expensive right now, I look everyday hoping to find a good deal so I can go sooner.

Yeah, I'm leaving on the 5th...I can't wait to see him! I have not seen him since JULY--this is the longest we've ever been apart and we BOTH have been DYING!!! It seems like the closer the time comes, the harder it gets! And let me tell you plane tickets are RIDICULOUS!! I cannot believe I had to pay so much for a ticket! Most people were like, "oh that's a good price!" I'm like "h##@! no it isn't! I'm used to much cheaper prices than this!"...but oh well..."tis the season I guess!" He's definitely worth it though...a million times over. I love him so much!!

Oh my goodness That is a long time!! I had 6 six month gap last year and I thought I was gonna die Since then I have been lucky to be able to go about every 3-4 months The flights are a little high now because of the holidays. I did find a good price in Jan like the first 3 weeks, after that they started going back up. I haven't booked it yet. I am trying to wait and see where we will be in the K-1 process. Hopefully by then our papers will be on their way to Kingston.

Just thot I would check in. Please put in prayers for our fam, we are still fighting this terrible scourge and I have no idea what to do other than pray about it.

Its a horrible thing, and its not scabies. I know the power of mass prayers, so please, I have been almost suicidal about this thing, as one just doesnt know what to do after they have done all they can do.

I think I will stay home and help my mom and dad put up their Christmas tree. I won't be putting mine up this year because I will be visiting my husband. Do a lot of you put up your trees the day after Thanksgiving?

Me and Tony finally bought a decent sized tree this year. It's 6 1/2 ft. tall. The other one I've had since I first bought my house was only like 2 ft. tall Yes, I plan to put it up Thanksgiving weekend. That's only 4 weeks from Christmas

Tony did our tree his first X-mas too! The only thing is, my tree was only 2 ft. tall and he covered it with full-size ornaments I never even used to put ornaments on it - it's fiber-optic lights so I would just turn the switch and I was done. It was cute though.

FYI....to all the people going for their interview...mike tried to hand in the ds-230 part II and they said NO...you will get a letter in the mail 2 weeks after you arrive in the States...so i hope that clears up some confusion...

I think we'll put it up next week -- I will take pictures and put them up on Yahoo. The living room/dining room is purple -- one wall, that goes up the stairs is red -- at the top of the stairs is aqua.....every room in the house is a different color.....I LOVE COLOR!! The louder and more obnoxious the better I let Roy paint one room -- it's "his" room -- he picked a light peach color.....YUCK!!! He said at least one room in the house needed to be "calm" :lol:
