Leaving in less than 8 hours for the airport. I am finally getting excited.

Got this e-mail today regarding my RFE that they got on Tuesday. Thanks for the information. Preliminary processing was complete, remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message (of course not time was listed.)

Oh well, I guess that is good news.

I hope to be surprised when I get home.

hey guys, here in jamaica getting ready to bury my grandmother.... wow this all feels so surreal. i keep looking around and remembering all these little things we used to do together. do let anytime be missed that you could be spending with the ones you love.... i missed the woman who i grew up with until i started college by one day and its killing me inside.

Well...I have a little "alone time" becasue I dropped Duane off at the gym so he can play basketball for the next couple hours. He is deternined to loose those "twins" that he aquired after we met..........That tummy has grown and grown and grown sooooo he is trying to get those "six pack abs" back..... :thumbs::thumbs: (We shall see..... :blush: )

Anyways......things are going better than I had expected. I started back to work this week and Duane has been busy painting everyday. I think he would be going nuts if he did not have his painting to keep him busy. He is adjusting pretty great but he does miss his kids. He calls them every day and he keeps reminding himself that we are going back to visit next April. We are hopng they can get a visitor visa to come and stay wih us next summer. Has anyone else experienced this with your husband???? How does it work and how is your husband doing???

On a happy note, Duane already sold a few paintings and this helps out a lot. It gives Duane the drive to keep painting each day and it also lets him have his own money. I think that is important because men feel like they need to have some control and sitting around without a job or any money can be really hard. My son dropped his phone is the washing machine and it broke last night. Duane offered to go and buy him a new phone today. I could tell that it made him feel good knowing that he could contribute and help out financially.

Anyways.....hope everyone hears good news on the things they are waiting for and my condolences to all that are having tough times.

Thanks Jonesie for those restaurant names...we will be going to dinner this weekend..........

We're fresh off of our wedding and honeymoon, Squito got a job offer yesterday (pending his work permit, which he won't even need now) and now this!!! I'm truely beaming right now :luv:

I justed Loaded some WEDDING PIcs to YAHOO site, it is under Tenika & Rohan Album.

Can I view your wedding pictures also? I've heard talk of the yahoo site b/4 but have not been able to figure out how to access it ?? (F)

I got my invitation to join the group from Mrs, Squitto. Try sending her a PM. If you still cant get in let me know, I will sent u an invitation to view a few pics in my online album.

That is wonderful Duane is able to contribute something already. It really does help. Rohan got a job a couple weeks after coming and that is a great blessing it takes off some of the burden. Does he have a website or do u have any pics of his paintings. I would love to see how he paints. I have an idea to to bring in more money for you guys. Why dont u take pics of some and sell them on EBAY, if you are not sure how to go about it, I will help :yes:

i know this is SOOO off topic......BUT i was reading on CNN last night and Lance from n'sync is gay :blink: he was my fav back in that day...:lol: but i never saw that coming....just thought i would share...

I was wondering what the girls who liked him would think.....guess this means N'Sync is officially done, huh?
