I came home from the hospital late last night and crashed!!! She is doing better today so we are just happy they got to it before it got any worse!!!

Kim thankfuly they found out what was wrong with your sister and that is is doing fine!!! That is good news...i hope she has a speedy recovery!!!

Well i like darlene i have 29 more days till the BIG day and 28 days till i see Mr. Mikey... :D:D:P mr. mikey it just reminds me of Cham's song...sorry i have not had that much sleep...

My grandma is not doing great...and is on her final days maybe hours...just keep her in your thoughts..

Sorry to hear about your Grandma she is my prayers. Is she doing any better today? (F)

Wow you must be gettting exited to see your man. I can't beleive your interview is here for real. ;) B)

it has been going on for 2 weeks...first she started refusing to eat and now it is just waiting...i know that sounds morbid but really that is what we are doing...yesterday she was responding to touch and people talking to her...today nothing just sleeping...it is really hard on my mom...she can't stand looking at her and not understanding why she isn't eating....and the lady at hospic explained it to us as her body just shutting down....

This is exatly what happen to Dwain's dad sorry to hear this Shauna. Keep strong your family is deeply in my prayers.

Seems we are all doing the countdown. 29 Days for me and this ordeal will end. I am so ready for it to be over. I guess I should be nervous, but I am just approaching this as calm as I am. After 4 years I figure there is only one happy ending!

Wow it seems like everyones path is coming close to the end. All the best at the upcoming interview

Lawd - nobody come an chat since 9:30 this morning?? What's wrong? Who didn't go to work today? Who's not feeling well?

This is crunch week - finals - so I won't be around much. I need to get a new modem so I can log on from home.

I called in sick today ;) B)

Good luck on your finals

Michele I hope you feel better!

what is the approximate turn-a-round time from the time you drop off the DS 230 to receiving your interview date? And Gregory wants to know will they call him or send him a letter?" I don't know, but I told him I knew a lot of folx who did! :P

Hi Belly-

We found out our interview date about 1 week after turning in the DS230. We called the embassy because I was trying to make flight reservations and could not wait....glad that I did because packet 4 never arrived in the mail and Duane had to go to Kingston to pick it up.....I would start calling them 1 week after you drop it off......

I saw so many thongs poking out when some of these women stooped or bent to pick up their files. I also saw way too much cleavage. It seems the men were better dressers that day.

I don't trust the Jamaican mail system at all  You're much better off just picking the packet up from the Embassy like Kim says.

Boy Rhonda sure is going to be disappointed tonight :hehe:

Hi everyone, just wanted to step in and say hi all the way from ATL. A friend of mine bought a house here w/her husband and moved down from NY. She had her baby shower yesterday and it was great. It's real nice out here and the weather is good too. Not real anxious to head back in the windy city tommorrow so I'm sure you guys can understand. LOL

How do you like the ATL? I considered relocating there a couple of years ago but wasn't really to impressed with the area I was visiting. I was only there for a few days though and that's not really enough time to make an informed decision.

I really enjoyed it. It's real nice (depending on where you are of course). My friend lives by Six Flags in a new subdivision. We took 25 mins to get to the ATL Int'l airport. Her house is huge 5 bedrooms w/3 1/2 bathrooms. They are very friendly and most of the kids all play together. The only thing I didn't like was not having a basement. She said that was a lot more. But girl, I fell in love w/the closest. It was huge!!!! AND when you thought it was big enough you had to bend the corner to see the rest....I'm still trippin how how big that was... Now, I have seen some walk in closests but never big like this. It reminded me of Toni Childs from Girlfriends... We hunged out in Stone Mountain...it's cool but I don't think I can live in that area. I know too many ppl moving in that area.
