Just sharing some good news: Henry received his Green Card yesterday!! He is quite relieved. :lol:

AOS, EAD - 115 days from mailing AOS to conditional Green Card in Hand

06-07-08 - File to remove conditions

4/28/09 - Moved to CSC

06-20-09- Received 10 year Greencard

Citizenship

07-09-09 - Filed N-400

:dance: Congrats Elizabeth and Henry.......no more immigration stuff for 2 years!!! Yeah!!!! :dance:

I spent the night Thursday and ALL Friday at the hospital...my sister had a ruptured appendix and they finally found out what was going on (a little late) and took her into surgery last night..... I came home from the hospital late last night and crashed!!! She is doing better today so we are just happy they got to it before it got any worse!!!

Have a great weekend and enjoy your darn day off tomorrow Rhonda!!!!! :D

Kim, glad to hear she is doing well. I will say a prayer for her speedy recovery when I go to church tomorrow.

Bert is finally off the ship and home for vacation. 3 weeks 6 days until the interview. Go my plane ticket to go only for 2 nights but that is okay. Getting very anxious.

Kim thankfuly they found out what was wrong with your sister and that is is doing fine!!! That is good news...i hope she has a speedy recovery!!!

Well i like darlene i have 29 more days till the BIG day and 28 days till i see Mr. Mikey... :D:D:P mr. mikey it just reminds me of Cham's song...sorry i have not had that much sleep...

My grandma is not doing great...and is on her final days maybe hours...just keep her in your thoughts..

I lost my grandmother three years ago....it was a long, drawn-out ordeal. Not something I would ever wish on anyone. I hope your grandmother finds her peace soon.....

it has been going on for 2 weeks...first she started refusing to eat and now it is just waiting...i know that sounds morbid but really that is what we are doing...yesterday she was responding to touch and people talking to her...today nothing just sleeping...it is really hard on my mom...she can't stand looking at her and not understanding why she isn't eating....and the lady at hospic explained it to us as her body just shutting down....

I started to die laughing when I read this in your post......Last June when I was in Jamaica, I asked Duane to play the "Mr. Mikey" song.......he just stared at me with a puzzled look and then he started laughing hysterically......He said...."baby, the song says "ME SAY MIKEY"......and NOT Mr. Mikey"......oh well...I used to say "Bad man Flower....bad man pull up" so I guess I will never get it right...

thanks to everyone for your thoughts...we went in to see her tonight...and she has really started to go down...she seems to be in 2 different kinds of world...the world we know and live in and the other world that we go too...we say her mouthing like she was talking to someone else so i am sure it won't be long and she will be with her husband and the other family members that have passed and she will be at peace (L)
