Good morning!

For the new filers, did you get the REF with the same questions that were on the new forms? I just got an e-mail from someone and they also waited for the new forms and got the same repeat questions. Why do you think that is?

Two more days and I am going to my home away from home. I am so excited. Will be catching the beginning of Sunsplash in Priory. Great lineup for the first night. I am still debating if I will delay my return home to stay for the entire party....

Update: I was "touched" today so... maybe my RFE is on the way. I'll keep you posted. :wacko:

3/30/05 Met in Montego Bay

10/23/05 Returned to Jamaica for 8 days

5/06 - 6/06 1 month in Jamaica

7/5/06 Priority Mailed I-129F to NSC

7/7/06 e/mail confirmation from usps packet delivered

7/14/06 Check Cashed

7/17/06 Rec NOA 1

7/25/06 Touched

Jamaica got into my heart,it whispered to my mind,my mind told mi body, and we all said ahhhhh.

I know the area. I always go to Ocho Rios. My girlfriend lives in Exchange.

Hope Tony is doing okay!

Rhonda, I'm so sorry to hear that about Tony's uncle. After our recent experience we can see that things are just getting so bad there. I'm praying that the time will come soon when this senseless violence will end. My sympathy goes out to Tony's family and both of you.

I dread hearing news like that...any of us could be on the receiving end of that phone call.

So sad but so true.

Jax -- I agree with Rhonda 100%. The best proof of the relationship is you standing right there next to him. I would highly suggest you attend the interview. If my memory serves me......so far, at least in the past year, every time the woman WAS NOT there a problem arose and the approval was not given at that time.

:yes::yes::yes: So so true

Just checkin in.....alls well over here. Craig is going to start a job tomorrow, working at a college. A good friend of mine is the President of the college and he'll be doing odds and ends stuff all over the college. He also had an interview today with a temp agency (for warehouse folks, etc). He had a 2nd interview for a laborer's job this past Sat and then I ran him all over applying for jobs at the 15 million grocery stores, Walmart, Kmart and Target that are near to us.

That's great news Kelly - I'm glad Craig is adjusting so well. I hope he had a great first day :thumbs:

Hi ladies, just stopping by to say hi,

I am gonna go and catch up, I am a little too excited to sleep, (then again I just might go and sleep).

I just came on to check my email and I must say thank you all so much for your kind words of advice all this time. If it was not for this thread I would have given up. A very special freindship came from this experience .I know I am going on as if I am all finish withthis process but that is not the reason I am saying thank you. It is because my I130 was APPROVED.Ican't believe it htey approved my petition in a little over 3 months.

Great news :dance::dance: congrats!!

Oh and :no: mindy I have not heard anything. He said the file should be in in two weeks or less and if it turns out that there is nothing to be concerned about he would just approve our case and the card will come in the mail. So, I just pray every day that the card comes, or at least and approval letter comes in the mail soon. The longest we will have to wait is three months. I would like to see the file however. Part of me feels that this is just an excuse to delay approval. There is no way that this just came up all of a sudden, They would have caught it a long time ago :huh: So we will see :unsure:
