Hello everyone. It's me Myisha doing my quarterly check in( hee hee hee) As some of you heard Ricardo and I had our daughter Makayla Elizabeth on sept. 1st. We are all doing great and it has definately been a worldwind for me dealing with the twins( now 19 months) and anewborn but i really love it. As soon as I can catch my breath i will post some pics on yahoo.

So how is everyone doing? For you newlyweds...has married life treatng you?

Welcome Makayla (L)

Good to hear from you Myisha :luv:

Rohan is in Kingston as we speak so if they don't give him the packet then we will just have to wait.

I will just have to pray they accept the DS-230 and give him his interview date right then and there.

In kingston there is a hotel named Knutsford Court Hotel. Has anyone ever stayed there before?

i have never stayed ther but its very popular here in jamaica............ i see them advertise al the t ime on tvj an they sponsor a local televesion show called rising star .

just got back from medical at motego bay hope medical, i was really nervous but all in all it went well, for all of u who have upcoming medicals pls feel free to post ur qusetions?.................only interview left :dance:

Congrats on completing medical (hubby got all the shots on the list so he was pretty sore when it was over ), now one more step and you'll be on your way

I know this is left corner, but I just realized that this holiday season will be our first together:

- as husband and wife

- living together in the US

For the past two years we spent Christmas, New Years and my birthday together in JA, but I always had to board the iron bird in the sky to return stateside. This year we can start our own Thanksgiving tradition (jerk fowl instead of roast turkey on Thanksgiving) and decorate our first tree together on Christmas (L):luv:

I can't wait!

Sweet :luv:

Hey Dee -- Have you heard anything????

NO. :help::crying: I will be writing a letter this week to check the status. We have a few more weeks before the 90 days are up. I don't know what the deal is. I hate to think about it but...I don't know what I'll do if we get denied ....... ...just thinking about it.

just got back from medical at motego bay hope medical, i was really nervous but all in all it went well, for all of u who have upcoming medicals pls feel free to post ur qusetions?.................only interview left :dance:

About the medical: How long did it take? What exactly did they ask/do? How much money was involved? Did you just take the forms that were in the packet & have the dr. fill them out, or did you have to fill something out prior to your visit? I think that's all I have for now--but CONGRATS on getting it done!!

Varies depending on how many shots and vaccines you need to get. The actual "medical" also varies by where you get it done....see below. The shots could cost you as much as $200.00 US but it varies greatly.

List of doctors? MoBay Hope Medical -- Montego Bay 876.953.3981 ($95.00 US)

Andrews Memorial -- Kingston 876.926.7401-3 ($80.00 US)

Dr. Banbury -- Kingston 876.908.2123 ($80.00 US)

YOU MUST bring the following to your medical: 4 Passport Photos, Completed Medical History Form, Passport, Any Immunization Records Showing Prior Vaccinations and Your Appointment Letter (from the Embassy - "Packet #4")

I keep asking why would he place the perfect man in my life and then just snatch him away???? And it just dosen't make sense. :( I pray we hear something soon.

You guys will be fine don't worry to much and make yourself sick. You will get it... Have the faith (F):D !

Alos...do not forget to ask the doctor for the DS2032 form (immunization form).....You will need that for the next step. When you file AOS, you need to bring that form to a Civil Surgeon and pay them to transfer the info over to the I-693(A) (this is the vaccination supplemenal needed at AOS). If you do not get this form, the Civil Surgeon will charge you to have a new medical.....costly, costly, costly!!!!:unsure:

Called for an appointment today for Bert. It took over 2 hours to get through, maybe because it is Monday.

She said to bring 4 pictures, completed medical form, appointment letter, passport, immunization record, $80 US for medical and $7000J for shots. NO specific time was given for appointment just go between 7:30 and 1.
