Hello all,

I was sitting in the plane to take of to Brussels for a family visit and a wedding when my husband called...' your appointment letter for biometrics came in' ... so then what do u you...he called the uscis right away to see what goes on and they say if u reschedule it can take again 30 to 90 days that u get a new apointment, we already waited from August 12 till november 3rd to even get a biometrics scheduled for my EAD and Green Card....

Right now im in europe and not sure if i should fly back (which changing tickets is gonna cost 1500 euros!!) or just send my paper back with the question to reschedule it....anybody help??

Thanks Jeanine

Not really sure how to answer this one.. You left the US without your advanced parole? If so this could be a problem, NVM looked at your timeline. It would depend on your needs. Do you really need to start working? If not I would enjoy my vacation and just expect everything to take longer.

If you need to start working right away then you should way the costs of changing the ticket versus what you would make in the few extra months of having employment.

it says right in her timeline that she has AP.

anyways to your question! - I think if you can wait for a new appointment, since you are on a trip, I would wait personally.. I know its along time but the expencive cost to fly right back for the appointment and then missing your trip to visit with family.. its kind of a lot since you are already on your way.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.
