Movie Theatre Near Montreal Consulate?

On the radio this morning they were saying theatres are selling out of New Moon tickets.

I want to try and buy some ahead of time for Montreal. Can anyone give me the name of a movie theatre near the consulate? I'll be renting a car so I can drive if needed.

There's a mall very close to the Consulate and I think I may have seen a movie theatre there, but I'm not absolutely sure. I can't remember the mall but it was on like saint Catharines street.

According to Moviefone and Google Maps - the AMC Forum 22 is a few blocks away from the Consulate. I could be wrong but it appears to be correct; although I'm sometimes easily confused by the word 'Rue'...

Checking out the 'street view' on Google maps - the area looks pretty cool. Lots of shops, places to eat etc - I'd check it out if the opportunity came.

I called the hotel we're staying at (which accoring to google maps is .2km from the Consulate!!) and they recommended the AMC Forum 22.

When I went online to buy a ticket, they are not even selling them for that date yet. It looks like they are only selling a few days in advance.

I wonder if they are selling at the theatre? I think I'll call today and find out . . .

Agreed. I'm seeing this movie on the 20th come hell or high water, haha.

The Cinema one looks cool. Somehow, they're selling tickets for an advanced showing the night before, even, at 10pm. No way I could convince Ben for us to go to that one when we have to be up at 4am, though.

I'd like to minimize our actual drive time in Montreal, though. Think I'll have to rely on highschool French to get by with a cab driver?

The AMC one is a 33 minute walk from our hotel; Cinema Banque Montreal is only a 14 minute walk. Did a partial StreetView "walk" heh, and it looks like a long walk... especially in the cold, albeit in a good area.

I just bought them online at Famous Players. 7:15pm on Friday. Surely we'll have left the consulate by then from our 8am interview.
