I'm starting to believe all the K-Visas are lost in an alternate universe.....unfortunately, we're all too aware where our spouses/fiances are -- TOO FREAKIN' FAR.

I believe there is something seriously wrong with our applications. I sent out my I-130 on the 30th of June and still I haven't received my NOA1 from CSC.

Has the check been cashed yet? It is not unusual to have to wait weeks for the NOA1. But if the check has been cashed you can usually get the receipt number off the back so you can at least see your case status online.

As for the petitions at NBC or any of the service centers. Even prior to IMBRA there would often be long delays in any petitions being approved. It seems to run in cycles. What we fail to remember is that I-130's and I-129F's for fiance and spouse are not the only petitions these centers deal with. IMBRA may have thrown a spanner in the works some, but they will all of a sudden start spitting out the approvals in mass soon. That is my prediction.

Hi Adnan Shakil. Yep, I sent in my I-130 application to TSC on 6/23/2006 and it was delived at TSC on 6/25/2006 but I still do not have a NOA1 and the check hasn't been cashed either so we are all in the same boat my friend. I have heard other members also stating that it is taking around 30-40 days to get the NOA1 as opposed to 10-12 days that it used to take for the NOA1 6 months ago.

I believe you are right, I sent out a certified cashier's cheque.. How can I know if it has been cashed or not? I hope that it does get through and I get my NOA 1. I don't think that filing of I-129F would do any good. I already have my H1-b approved so I am gonna be going for that. Best of luck for all of the guyz. I pray that somebody would just wake up in the morning at the CSC, TSC, VSC and the fourth one and just approve all the legitimate cases.
