Sept. 9, 2009 - received approval email from USCIS thru CRIS

Sept. 14, 2009 - NOA2 hardcopy received by husband

HI Everyone.

We had the interview yesterday and it went perfect (although I had nausea and stomachache all day). When they first called us, the lady was checking all the documents and she asked: how long have you known each other, how did you meet, any of you previously married, where did my husband learn spanish. She gave my husband his tax info back. We were told to sit down to wait for the consul. There were 3 people before us. We waited for approx. 1h and the consul called us. As soon as he just saw we put the wedding albums, folders, others on the counter, he said: we don't need those (They didn't ask for ANYTHING, no pictures, no emails, no other evidence, ZERO). He checked the documents right away and the only thing he asked was to my husband, what do you do for a living? and TADA!!! He asked the lady next to him, Friday at 3pm to pick up visa, right? She said yes, then he said Friday, 3pm to pick up visa. Then I said, that's it? Listo? He said yeah, Friday. I asked if I could have my old passport back and I will get my visa on Friday and leave to the States on Saturday!!

Thank you so much to all VJ's for your support and help. Paris Heart, hang in there, YOU WILL BE WITH YOUR HUSBAND SOON!!!!
