Says the guy whose entire world view is based on what other people have told you.

Wrong! It's called actually listening to other people's experiences. You may want to try it some time. That is, rather than the knee-jerk, they don't share my ideological view, so they are obviously (insert one of the following insults) wrong, stupid, making it up, idiots, generalizing, stereotyping, labeling, racist etc etc etc.

For someone who totally discredits and frowns upon opinion, you sure as hell never post any sound evidence to back your own view. Which is the issue I have had with you from day one.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

I did like how they configured / installed those safety barriers. That is, allowing emergency vehicles through but protecting people from hitting others or streetlights.

Most people are right handed so it makes sense. That way our strongest arm is always on the wheel.

Also, good luck trying to find a pothole.

How would the Aussie roads be with a population of 300 million vs the current 20 million or so?

You don't have 300 million people living in a small space.

Metro streets are cleaned weekly in Aus. I am yet to see one single cleanup vehicle in four years here.

I asked, what would the Aussie roads be like if the population was 300 million? What is harder to clean up after, 20 million or 300 million? What puts more wear and tear? What costs more to upkeep? These are fair questions. What house is easier to clean, one you live in alone, or one with 6 kids, 2 dogs and a couple of cats?

hey I know my neighborhood probably isn't the greatest but you were talking about street cleaning and how it supposedly never happens here

Eye roll nothing. Clowns like yourself always talk about these apparent 'nice areas' in the US but not one of you has even shown them to me.

Google streetview is there and free. You do know how to use that right?

You'r an f'n joke! LOL If you hate it here so much just pack up and leave.

So much hate here!!!

Nice comeback. The spouse's country of origin is very fitting. Not to mention, they can easily offload drugs straight to the largest buyer in the region.

 Oh yes, BY the M25 is an absolute driving pleasure.

What's wrong with it? Or was your mommy and daddy one of those who complained against it? "it will ruin London governa"

You know what, you're a real loser for your constant insults of people's spouses and country of oirign.

Your argument is ridiculous. What you are saying would make sense if the majority of Americans lived around major cities, as are the majority of Australians do. Not to mention it ignores the fact that the US is neither a federalist or parliamentary country, where centralized governments call the shots. The country is broken up into states, counties and cities; which are quite independent of one another. Boston for example has 4.4 million people in the Metro area, as does Sydney. Yet Sydney's infrastructure is much more modern than Boston's.

Anyway, more people equals more taxes. Which translates to lower costs and higher buying power. Realistically, the infrastructure in the US should be the best in the world. As should everything else. What you are forgetting is that this was once the case. Between the 40's and 80's, the US had great infrastructure and lead the world. Since everything looks like it's stuck in the 80's, something happening after the 80's which lead to some sort of misguided and stupid revolt towards investing in America. Now that I think of it, when did Regan come in again?

You know what, you're a real loser for your constant insults of people's spouses and country of oirign.

What do you want me to do? Pretend I am not better than those from 2nd and 3rd world countries. That would be lying.

How is that racist? Or should I bow my head down in shame that my country of birth is doing well? Unlike most other countries, they earned their success fair and square. Furthermore, they never wronged anyone in doing so.

Australia's immigration speaks for itself. Those from Northern South American countries that the US is fixated on allowing to migrate here the most, are least accepted in Australia. Aka not interested mate.
