Wow such hostility BY. Is this the criminal gene rearing itself today and manifesting in this anger?

Who's angry?

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Marilyn you better take down those links. BY is a known descendent from criminals. You might provoke the "deviant" gene in him and provoke him to go break into your home :jest:

That is quite a decent area. Looks a lot like a typical Aus street.

I will be the first to admit that I live in a ghetto type neighborhood.. we moved here because the apartment was nice and big and the rent was fairly cheap.. we are planning on moving to a nicer neighborhood next year though...

oh and that link was from the town where I work, not where I live :P

That town does not look that bad. Of course I don't know what the people there are like. Which is the biggest problems with ghettos in the US.

I think people would be very hard pressed to find a ghetto in Aus. You will definitely be hard pressed to find anything anywhere near as bad or rundown as ghetto after ghetto here. A rundown area in Aus is also an exception, rather than the norm. Like Canadians, we take great pride in our communities and cities.

My first experience in LA was in South Central, were I had to order taco bell through a bank like one inch thick window at the counter. People in Australia still refuse to believe this story.

I know the people I work for are really nice people...

you have nice and not so nice people in any neighborhood.. doesn't matter if it is ghetto or not...

Ghetto is very common here. That has been my point from day one. Even up to a few years ago, less than 20% of Americans had passports. So of course for the average Joe like uberDouche here, it's the same everywhere. Well it's not. The US is by far the worst out of any developed country I have been too.

The nice suburb (community) is the exception here, while the ghetto can be found all over the US. yes, town after town. Whereas the ghetto is the exception in Aus. Clearly to some here, as long as they live in a nice gated community, they don't give a ####### abut the rest of their city or suburb; let alone state or country. This attitude is solely restricted to third world countries and the US. You will be hard pressed to find anyone who thinks like that in Europe or Australia.

I refuse to believe the story as well. There is no way in hell you've been to any ghetto in L.A.. You're allergic to non-white people and would have had a severe breakout anywhere near south central.

You obviously confuse my specific hatred of the urban yank minority for hating anyone of other races. Newsflash, half the developed world cannot stand the urban yank minority. Hence why nothing they do is cool there nor are they welcome.

Go try be Ghetto cool in Aus. I dare you  Go exert the same ghetto attitude there and see how they respond to it. Even a cop would probably knock you out, doooooggg.
