According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

In Australia, they don't just drive on roads. They stop and take pictures and have wild roadside sex.

Google is retaking Aus streets this summer in hi-def. That's when you will really see how embarrassing the US is. Until then, just compare it to Canada or Europe, which absolutely destroys the US.

I guess for those from third world countries, there is no drama when looking at the US.

How would the Aussie roads be with a population of 300 million vs the current 20 million or so?

You don't have 300 million people living in a small space.

Metro streets are cleaned weekly in Aus. I am yet to see one single cleanup vehicle in four years here.

Need I bother bringing up interstates here?

If the roads are less heavily trafficked it stands to reason that they will be in a better condition.

London has a higher population density than most US cities
