No, it has to do with the fact the there was an impeachment by a republican congress over a sex act, but this is an thus-far uninvestigaged incident with a weapon by a republican VP.

I disagree completely....the way I saw the impeachment was due to perjury under oath (many do it I'm sure, but the leader of the free world got caught doing so) sexual harrassment, & sexual discrimination in a workplace. I'll explain these at great length if anyone wants Believe you me, Bill's a friendly lookin guy and all...and if he wants to stray - well that's his business. But he shouldn't have let it cross over into his professional life.

The fact of the matter is that someone has been injured & we should all just hope for the best & wait for the dust to settle, not to use it in yet another politically-driven agenda. That can wait.

EXACTLY,LisaD! but I know for sure there are some wishing this guy would die, because of pure hatred of cheney! I have seen so much of it here from some. Oh,and Clinton was impeached for LIEING UNDER OATH!

Well, she was transferred to the Pentagon as an assistant even though she wasn't qualified for the job. It was based on the direct fact of her screwin around with the Pres. So conversely, a qualified applicant DIDN'T get the job based on the fact that she wasn't blowing the Pres.

That's harrassment & discrimination to me.....

But believe me, this is not a partisan thing....I feel that most politicians are lying #######, and we're all just people who think we have rights to know stuff, but we're basically just manipulated pawns for both sides.

Cheney is a deeply unlikeable member of an (at best) deeply controversial adminstration. Question is why are you surprised that he is attracting negative publicity over this?

As I see it removing Saddam Hussein hasn't done a whole lot.

At least he had a reason and look at all the people who said "This war is unfounded, we need an exit strategy blah blah" I believe one of the people who said we need an exit strategy was then Governor George Dubya Bush himself. Where in the hell is our exit strategy in this war????????????? Oh thats right we don't HAVE ONE!!!!!! Everyone that flamed Clinton for his war turns the other cheek and laughs with their good ol' boy George Dubya cause he gets them what they want for doing that very thing. I'm sick of smelling ### breath from all the people who like a Bush salad. What Clinton did wasn't right, he lied under oath, lying is bad and especially bad under oath. I'm sure if Bush was asked about things under oath he'd stumble around, smirk, chuckle and lie his ### off. No one has given him the chance to lie under oath. The only difference is, Clinton didn't lie about things that have to do with national security like CIA leaks, or reasons for the killing of thousands of troops (WMD's that don't exist), or covering up for the real person probably running the show Mr. ####### Cheney and his little hunting accident.

Why doesn't anyone every bring up Nixon when we talk about impeachment or lying (even though he resigned before he could be impeached), what he lied about about is FAR worse than what Clinton did but thats right he was a Republican. Guess that explains EVERYTHING.

Oh one last comment about Saddam and his rule, we went there to get him out of power and help those nations structure a better government and then what to they do? They elect people like Hamas who are basically a terrorist organization who will keep them repressed. You can't fix won't people don't see as broken. Wow our troops died for a good reason, to save people who elect the same kind of leaders. Sad, sad, sad
