Mostly when BY posts these sorts of violent crime figures from the UK, it turns out that the violent crimes basically boil down to 90% bar room brawling versus 10% pre meditated criminal activity.

Pretty much.

So it boils down to the UK is full of drunks? #######. I thought that was France. I have been lied to.

Now, you think this would still be the case if they had Singapore's preferred method of punishment. My guess is that within 6 months, they too would end up ranked one of the lowest in the world.

I don't think you'd find many people who would support authoritarian government.

UK has always had a higher proportion of assaults. What we do not have, however are the sorts of massive murder rates that you get here.

Because Americans have the balls to kill people they don't like instead of beating them up like they do in the UK.

Or pussies and need to use weapons.

Hint: Rugby vs NFL.

It looks like he's trying to grab the guy's balls. I didn't know rugby was a gay sport?

Saudi court upholds child rapist crucifixion ruling

Tue Nov 3, 2009 2:22pm IST

RIYADH (Reuters) - A Saudi court of cassation upheld a ruling to behead and crucify a 22-year-old man convicted of raping five children and leaving one of them to die in the desert, newspapers reported on Tuesday.

The convict was arrested earlier this year after a seven-year old boy helped police in their investigation. The child left in the desert after the rape was three years old, Okaz newspaper said.

International rights groups have accused the kingdom, the birthplace of Islam, of applying draconian justice, beheading murderers, rapists and drug traffickers in public. So far this year about 40 people have been executed in Saudi Arabia.

In Saudi Arabia, crucifixion means tying the body of the convict to wooden beams to be displayed to the public after beheading.

If you don't rape or attempt murder, you won't be beheaded or crucified. Its very simple. Another monster slain. Next.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

I might have guessed that that would be the extent of your analysis.

No, the French drink but don't really get drunk. The Brits drink to get drunk and indulge in incredibly stupid fights as their after drinking entertainment. People do end up in hospital, but mostly with broken noses and the like.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .
