hi,

i have my IR1 interview on monday and i'm pretty sure that i'm all set with what i need to bring... except - i am not sure how much money need to take into the embassy with me. i have paid all the visa fees, and i know i need courier fees, but how much is the courier fee? and what about the fingerprint fee?

Just take about £150/£200

Its something like £89 to get the visa stuck on your passport and another £35 for express deleivery. But seen as they don't accept any type of card, take more to cover yourself.

It doesn't cost nearly that much. For an IR1 visa there are no additional fees for the visa itself. You only need to pay for the delivery, which is £14.20. If you want to pay more for a specific delivery time, you can. Those prices are on their website here: http://www.thedx.co.uk/customerservice/dxg...portdeliveries/

And they definitely do accept all sorts of cards.
