... says the one who got her NOA2 in 20 days ...

U don't even know what it's like to see VNC skipping ur application to work on ones sent month after urs. And I'm a november filer. Go tell the September and October ones that u have the right to receive ur NOA2 in 20 days, and they have to wait 5+ month cos they are not "men".

I would have loved to see how u would feel if u had to wait more then 2 month for ur NOA2. but we will never know, will we?

When I started this application I had no idea my partner would be deployed and as I read the guides i was expecting up to a five month wait before I received my NOA2

I know one thing is for sure I would not disrespect the country and the people who are processing my application.

Wow no respect for the people working for the government either

remind me why you have even applied to emigrate to the USA?

Visacat you've come in to a 3 month old thread and taken some comments way to seriously. Naddy is a well liked member of this thread, and maybe your opinions and comments would be more appreciated in the January thread.

Oh and congratulations on your approval and good luck to you.

i bet at this point, some november filers might be afraid to fill in their noa2 dates on their timelines. i mean, the backlash of getting approved before someone else is harsh on this thread.

blaming the government is just as useless as blaming 'men' or military personnel. in fact, it probably only makes one feel worse with all the harbored anger.

this site is useful for matters of support. no one here should be pissed at any other person or worker. be happy you're alive and in love.

process times say 5 months, if someone gets approved faster - try being happy for them. you'll feel better.

My opinions and comments are in this thread due to the posts that naddy was making therefore they wouldnt make any sense in the January filers. I think her comments needed to be taken seriously as she has a total lack of respect for people who have to go through the process of deployment with their military partners and also the process of a visa application. I was merely trying to show people a different point of view as even though we may have been expedited our waiting and heartache does not end there like some people think it does. We have to wait for our partners to return safely from fighting for their country which will be long after you are all safely reunited in the USA with your partners and your visas approved.

Im sorry if my comments were hurtful but i was mad about the statement and wanted to put my point across.

I agree with Valerie be happy for those who are through and support those who are waiting.

Good luck to you xx

Personally I have no problem with expediated NOA 2's especially when it is either Military or extreme hardship reasons etc.

If your Military Fiance/e spouse is deployed waiting for them to come home alive must be unbearable. Noa2 waiting in comparision is nothing.

Again I hate to harp at December 15th approvals. But in all reality I cannot believe they are all "Special Cases" I mean over 50% approved or processed. Being approved long before November Filers even October Filers.

All I want is date order processing except for those few (And I am sure its only a few) special cases. But the proof tells another tale.

Anyway today the 17th Feb 2010 there has been no activity for Nov3rd 2009 EAC100235xxx filers.

Thank you, goodnight and may your gods go with you",

Dave Allen.

Agreed, Adrian.

Respect in life has to be earned, and the VSC visa process has yet to convince me it is deserving in terms of living up their own mission statement. Big respect to anyone in the military facing active deployment and also respect to Naddy. I would not expect anyone who was currently trying to immigrate to the UK to say they respected absolutely everything the UK government did or how certain UK government agencies carried out their business and swear blind, unquestioning allegiance to all government processes which affect each and every one of its citizens lives. That would be niaive and the natives would all laugh and say, "wait till you move here!". It is heartening and even touching when a government agency does move mountains in response to one individual's plight, but for the millions of others not in special situations, the experience is for the most part, is entirely the opposite.

No, we won't be. We will be delighted it is actually a November filer and not a January in a non-special situation and processing is going in some semblance of date order.

I completely Agree with you Adrian. How did our conversation turn into a hatred against other people or applications that are expedited. It's stupid for us to discuss the justification of an expedited application. I am proud of the men and women fighting for our country... we cannot do enough to thank them.

We are straying away from the original point of the data collected... the cases on December 15 are not "special cases"... It is an obvious flaw in USCIS's processing system. From the data and from the response I got from USCIS, it seems like they give a VSC officer a batch of applications to be processed. The persons who processed December applications is either fast or loves to work. This discrepancy in processing time of"non-special applications" should be addressed. Their processing system needs to be straighten out.

Right now, I want is for USCIS to admit this and let us know what they are doing to fix their system... and for my application to be processed :)

We love to see approvals on this thread. When I get mine, I'm going to shout it out and post it in all the threads. And say haha loser sucks to be you. LOL. (just kidding). But I will be happy. :D

There is a little thing called fairness. I think we all know how it feels when your waiting in line and someone cuts in front of you. It sucks. Thats all we here want, fairness. The average processing time for for August, September, October is 54 days. Now the average November filer is already doubled that time. Well waiting sucks but to see others getting theirs who filed after you, It doesn't make since and it isn't fair. That's not to much to ask for equal treatment. The VSC, "the

Government", NoBama, or who or whatever you want to call "It", "They", or what ever, is to blame. And it may not help to blame them but it does feel better sometimes to vent or to share with someone else how angry you feel. I can't speak for anyone else from Nov, but I'm not posting in the other months threads about how they offend me. So either joins us or leave us, just enough with the judging.

I just found out how USCIS determines the processing times. It is really an ####-backward calculation that is absolutely meaningless. Basically the 5 months is their goal. They will not say anything less than that. But the way they calculate it is, they start by looking at the total pending cases. (7323 for VSC in Nov 09) Then they look at how many I-129Fs they receive per month and start subtracting the receipts from the pending cases until it equals 0. So basically as long as they are keeping their pending applications constant and their receipts constant, their processing times will always be 5 months. (VSC has been averaging about 1800 receipts per month. They had 7323 in NOV 09. So 7323/1800 = 4.07 months.)

It just surprised me that it had nothing to do with an actual average wait time.

Where did you get your figures of 7323 and 1800. I can't seem to find that. I seem to recall seeing a page with the data down-loadable as an excel file but can't find it now. Thanks

Haiti and Immigration: Confronting the Rumors

Come on JL, :bonk:

I hope you are not falling for this Haiti excuse #######. And this so-called "Rumor" is nothing but a bunch of BS... With all due respect to the poeple of Haiti and may God bless them, how is that ONLY the VSC is impacted and not the CSC by the Haiti tragedy? I mean more that 50% of the November filers in CSC have been approved compated to less than 10% filers in VSC for the same month. Now is someone suggesting that ONLY the VSC staff have been re-routed to porcess Haiti visas???? Give me a break! What's happening at VSC is simply some incompetent A-hole is running the show the way he/she feels like doing it... If there is no check and balance in the systme, who's is going to check on who? We are at the mercy of that proverbial 5-month limit and we have to gut it out while it lasts. More power to all my Novenver VSC VJ family members...

I dunno if I'm just lucky or if VSC are getting on with it, but my fiancee received the following email this morning:

> The last processing action taken on your case

>

> Receipt Number: EACxxxxxxxx73

>

> Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

>

> Current Status: Approval notice sent.

>

> On February 17, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have

> approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).

My NOA1 date was November 5th and before I get verbally assaulted by some of the angrier members here, I can assure you there is nothing special about my case - no deployment, no asylum, no son of any deity - just a bog standard I129F petition for a normal Scottish boy and a normal American girl.

Hopefully this gives some of you hope - it's a great feeling to get the approval and get ready to move on to the next stage!
