Maybe that person is in the military and being deployed soon, or their partner has some terminal illness or something, and they got theirs expedited. If VSC is dipping into the Jan. box just because, though... start contacting the media, because I'm seriously going to start a hunger strike. Maybe a hunger-and-fireworks strike, as it will attract more attention...

ok, combustion delayed. It's an expedite so I take it back. My bad. This whole thing is not good for my sanity :(

the sad thing is though I really wouldn't put it past them. Sigh.

Well there is quiet a cross section of dates in the spreadsheet.Dec 15 filers is an intersting one. I dont think all the Military and specials cases all filed on the same date.

Im in the wrong country to write to the US media, so whos gonna do it?

I am a January filer and was looking through the cases to see if any were moving and found that a few have been approved already, 3 have been approved with NOA 1 of Jan 12th (my date) and 2 approved with NOA 1 of Jan 13th. The randomness in VSC continues.

And the shocked silence from all October and November filers was deafening until the atmosphere was broken by the sounds of an explosion, as Miss Jess, as forewarned, did actually spontaneously combust.

It gets worse. I've just carried out a quickie code breakers trawl on NOA1's for 6 January.

EAC1006550309 - APPROVED 8 February.

Yes, they are doing January. It's official.

Excuse me whilst I now go and spontaneously combust. BOOM BOOM !

Yeah, that's what I was saying. My fiance and I flicked through every day in January up to our day (12th) and there were K-1 cases approved (and RFE's sent) for each day.

This is getting out of hand already. I got my NOA1 on Nov 10 and to see January filers getting approved just sucks.

There is no method to the madness... I have even seen someone from Venezuela approved who filed after us. I would think that countries where the US has good relations would make for a faster approval... the wonders of USCIS (nothing against Venezuela, but come on).

My daughter is 5 months old , every week counts...

I feel your pain

I am a december filer . i sent my application on the 4th of december and recieved my NOA 1 0n the 7th of december. This is out of hand , it's not fair . We all payed the same amount of money. I am so frustated , I thought I would be in about 2 months. To see people after me and in January approved is insane. I am so frustrated. I am not going to pretend i am happy about this because it just mean a longer wait for all of us if they are working backwards. This is a complete joke. I think it maybe better for me to not return to this site until I am approved. At least I want have to know that people who filed in January-February pretty soon even in -March will have their NOA 2 before me.

but if missjess explodes... I don't think going threw the hassle of getting a Visa for a vaporized fiancee would really do me much good.
