Well it's Valentines day and we all are in the same boat, for most of us our loves are far away but all the same we have someone to love and they love us back. Some day the wait will be over and that will be a happy day but until then I urge all of us to remain positive and thankful for the things we have. So come on we need everyone to think positive thoughts like peter pan: clap your hands and say "I BELIEVE IN THE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION SERVICE!! I BELIEVE IN THE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION SERVICE!!

Happy Valentines Day everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (L)

LOL!!! Much as it pains the hardened cynic in me to admit, that has cheered me today.

November VJers from Vermont are the best bunch anyone could put together even if there was another "Big Bang." I am very happy and proud to be a member of this selected bunch because the way we try to calm our anxiety is sureal. We don't even know each other in person, yet we feel so close with one another and we fee so ecstatic if one of us get NOA2. The bond we share due to this NOA2 drought is much stronger than the DNA molecule that binds sibings. California VJers have nothing on us, we are a perfect virtual family and it won't be too long before we all have our big NOA2 party at Big Mama's House.... I love ya all!!!! and Happy Valentine's Day (L)(F)(L)

November filers have been plagued with Holidays. Tomorrow is another :(. While the rest of the country (US) goes to work, our loyal government servants will be off tomorrow sipping coffee and scratching themselves. President's day. Another day down the toilet.

Actually the federal holiday is Washington's Birthday. President's Day is not the recognized holiday, and no I will not be sipping coffee but I will be scratching myself.

It's a holiday that keeps the postal workers from working, so my guess is that there won't be any movement at the USCIS, either.

I hope they're at home staying snuggly warm and carbo-loading for four days of 12 hour work-days the rest of the week!

I've just completed checking the 14th October and loaded it all onto the super spreadsheet. 7 people from that date are still waiting (that's 124 days and still waiting for them, whilst VSC continue to pump out another December in 56 days, that's so fair, yeh, right) . 24 approvals, 2 denials, 1 withdrawn and 1 "other". I will start on another October day now, unless anyone else would like me to do any day in November or December, if so speak now, I don't mind.

And the congressmen are also on holiday today....if anyone was thinking about paying them a visit today.

Maybe that person is in the military and being deployed soon, or their partner has some terminal illness or something, and they got theirs expedited. If VSC is dipping into the Jan. box just because, though... start contacting the media, because I'm seriously going to start a hunger strike. Maybe a hunger-and-fireworks strike, as it will attract more attention...
