What is going on in VSC? It seems like they only process ten a day... I'm sooo frustrated!

I'm sooo mad at myself!!! If only I process the application two weeks earlier, maybe I wouldn't be in this problem.

I heard that VSC has a messed up system where they do things in batches. Meaning that majority of the staff switched from one type of application to another type. That could explain why VSC was processing applications quickly before the winter break... now they are incredibly slow.

I don't know what to do... I'm losing all hope and faith. I keep telling my fiance... this is our week, this is our week... and for the past 6 weeks nothing has happened. I keep call USCIS every other day and they have nothing to tell me except the same information I already have. I filed a complaint to my Senator here in New Hampshire and they are basically telling me the same thing... to wait.

CSC is pumping out results like hot cake and VSC is frozen. What the heck is going on??!!!! Freaken A, come on VSC!... Remember the principles our country is based on... Freedom and Equality... EQUALITY!!!!!!!!!!!! :angry:

October 31, 2009: Mailed I-129F

November 5, 2009: I-129F Processing Payment Cashed

Nov 11, 2009: NOA1 Hard Copy Received

Waiting for NOA2

Frozen more than you think. Have you seen the weather for the North East recently. If its as far North as Vermont Im surprised we are seeing anything.

Vermont has had little snow. St. Albans has had 7.28 inches of precipitation since Nov 1. That may be about 60 inches of snowfall. The average is about 100 inches a year. They are not getting what DC/Philly/NYC are getting.

Yeah, if Chris P has the same NOA1 date as yours, then he shouldn't be expecting his NOA2 before February 15th... I know we all November filers are anxiously waiting for our NOA2, but sometime we have to learn to relax and do other things (like building a snow man:-) to preoccupy our mind. I would give it about 4 months before I turn into some type of an Incredible Hulk!!!! :bonk:

Hello kids :)

I decided to take a week away from checking VJ and USCIS because my other half (yensid) said that I was on the point of spontaneous combustion...I now know what it must be like to give up smoking!! ;)

Deeply depressed on how little progress we've seen though :'( Great news that there's been a few NOA2s but looks like California is sprinting ahead :(

My mum pointed out something to me this morning that I hadn't thought of as well.......although she is a British citizen and always has been, she was born in Venezuela and held dual nationality when she was a child. So that could ####### my background check right up :'(

And to top it all, I've got in to work this morning and SOMEBODY'S STOLEN MY CHUFFING MOUSEMAT!!!! lol

Still, trying to stay positive, let's have some more good news this week :)

J

YOU NOVEMBER CREW! I have just got my hands on your all singing and dancing, code breaking, super-dooper, jaw dropping spreadsheet! What genius did this? Was it you Miss Jess? Who ever it was clearly has the skill set to be the head of any government department (fancy heading up VSC?) or multi-national of their choosing! The FBI is not out of the question. I am gobsmacked!

I am formally thanking you and all the workers bees who put this together, for the merry hours of distraction it will give me to obsess over. I have posted it on our Octoberarians thread to keep the troops there happy, and wish to nominate myself as President of your official fan club.

lol...i believe everyone here will vote for you..soo officialy we can give you the title President :)

but now you gonna have to represent us in VSC ;)

'cmon people let release some more energy, and push the NOVEMBERS ON...

it looks like we have more than double petitions than octobars and december :(

so logically, it would be better for them to get rid of us as soon as possible, and then relax with the rest :P

Nothing since last week on the Nov. 6 files. This is seriously bumming me out; being told to calm down and relax and stop checking and just wait patiently isn't helping... Dark chocolate, on the other hand... that stuff is a life-saver.

thx for the cheering ^^

The genius is actually T and J who un-coded the receipt number.

I've done some manual searching (cos I wanted a REAL look at what's really going on at VSC), and put my results in a spreadsheet ( a personnel one, then i put it online). I saw that Jl_n_JL is doing the same searching too, so I though it would be great if we should combine our works, and maybe get some more help from other bored members, and everyone joined us in our crazy application checking ^^.

K1 Journey : Total length (from filing I-129F till Visa in hand) : 190 days (~6.3 month)

NOA1 issued : 11 - 09 - 2009 (6 days)

NOA2 issued : 02 - 26 - 2010 (109 days) (OMG!!!! was about time)

Interview date : 05 - 12 - 2010 (75 days) Approved !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

~~~ Happily Married on June 5th 2010 ~~~
AoS / EAD Journey : Total length (from filing I-485 / I-765 till Green Card in hand) : 115 days (~3.8 month)
I-485 / I-765 sent : 06 - 21 - 2010
NOA1 for AoS & EAD : 07 - 02 - 2010 (11 days)
