That puts Oct26 at about 74% complete.

48 days to process what they have of that one day.

Ok if it took Oct26 48 (start to finish) days to reach 74 percent, then it could be feasible that it would take another 36 days to get Oct27th (which is about 24%) to the same percentage. They could be processing one day in little over a month. At that rate it would be about 216 days until they complete Nov1. Haha i'm going bonkers.

I've managed to resist checking on our case for a few weeks in the hope that when I finally did there would be some exciting news...there wasn't.

It still only tells me that our case is under "initial review" and that it was received on November 5th. Does this mean that it hasn't even been "touched" this whole time and if so, is that a bad sign for us?

FYI...I sent an inquiry regarding my petition and Nov petition in general to the [VSC.Ncscfollowup@dhs.gov] email and this the auto response I received. I plan on calling hte NCSC today and opening a Service Request. If all the VJ Nov VSC people will do the same maybe we can get some action or at least some answers.

My NOA1 is Nov. 27th but seeing that early Nov. filers haven't even been touched isn't a good sign!!

***************Response*******************************

Our complaint was not that we were not processed fast enough, but that there is an unfair ordering of petitions, e.g december being processed before november and some of october.

We specifically stated the 5 month rule to the congresswoman, and said we are happy to wait 5 months, as long as petitions are handled fairly.

Congress members happen to have a bit more power to stamp their feet, and not get quoted policy like "u cant complain until 5 months is up".

I kind of think that persons NOA1 date might be a typo... I think they may have meant Oct.

But then, a lot of the Jan filers seem to be having a long wait between submitting their packets and getting NOA1s, so maybe it's legit...
