So answer me this. Why does December 15 have way more approvals than say Nov 3 or Nov 4th or Nov 11th.

Ok I've been thinking about this. It was previously discussed there was some sort of a South America conspiracy/or theory. The US has a policy on reciprocity meaning that if a country requires US citizens to pay fees then the US makes other countries citizens also pay fees. Ok that being said, maybe the relationship we have with SAmerica, and surrounding Islands ect.. is different then across the globe. Perhaps when a background check is done "locally" it's easier then say Japan or the Philippines. I'm stretching here I know but, who knows.

Hey all... First off I want to say great research. I have been working on receipt numbers last weekend, but I see people have already done the dates I did. I commend the people who kept with it and are continuing to update their databases.

So I called USCIS today and explained them the results of the research we did. I told them that we found that about 30% of December applications have been looked at while less than 5% the end of October applications and the whole month of November applications have been touched. I also explained my concern that maybe the November applications were lost or damaged... the representative assured me that the applications were not lost and that if they were I would have received a letter explaining that my application was lost. Like always the representative had no explanation or theory. He said this is only a hotline and he does not know what goes on at VSC... so basically a person who just read from a computer. He was useless, but he suggested that I write a letter to VSC explaining to them the results.

Saying this... does anyone have the most recent database of results. I want to summarize it in my letter that I plan on mailing out tomorrow.

If you feel frustrated on the situation... feel free to write a letter to VSC as well. The address to use is the same address used to mail the application.

We need to protest and do what we are good at doing... complaining!

Peace!

Chris P.

I donno if it's a good idea to show NVC our research. cos i'm not sure that we are supposed to do those researches ><

maybe better send the VJ monthly timeline, which shows December applications being approved, while no November ones, and explain that this is only a sample.

If u wanna insist on giving them more proof, maybe better to give them some "dates" to look into. they have all the information.

I'm just afraid that what we are doing wouldn't really be "approved" by VSC.

My fiance will call VSC, and will just mention the VJ timelines, and not the spreadsheet.

The spreadsheet is just between us ...

Only one I'm aware of is the one Naddy has out there.

and pls, stop saying it's mine, it's now more ours (the Novemberians, and 1 or 2 Octoberians) then mine lol

My opinion is that the VSC should know that there are people like us watching them. If they don't like it, they can do a better job so we don't want to spend our time doing this. Ultimately , the information we are using are a part of the public domain. If the VSC cared about what we are doing, then at a minimum they would have required us to type in the last name of the petitioner along with the Receipt Numer.

I've been thinking about why things have so slow for some of us. I think it has to do with the use of contractors to adjudicate the petitions. The petitions probably have to get shipped to the contractor facility. By accident they picked up the wrong stack of boxes. The Federal employee adjudicators are working their cases oblivious to what the contractors are working on. The contractors think that they have the correct boxes to work on. So everyone is just going along and unable to realize that there was an error because the Gov employees are still in Oct and the contractors have not asked for additional case yet.

I don't think we are doing anything that should be frowned upon ... the data is available on the website, there is no restriction on what file you can look at, no warning not look at other cases - to me that means we are free to roam around. I am more worried about pissing off a Vermont worker with my letter and getting thrown back into the pile. I'm thinking maybe the Congressman route would be more effective, but torn - I would love to write an official complaint to VSC. If a January case gets approved, I'll lose it.

Even though USCIS states that it takes upto 5 months between NOA1 and NOA2. But yes, it indeed troubling to see some December NOA2s and not not November's. I think it is better that if we keep on inquiring with our concerns rather than confronting them 'cuase they can always say "5 months!"

Could it also be that it is too snowy and too cold in Vermont for the folks to go to work:-)?
