oh i know how to check it on that site... i was just wondering where and howd they get those data for nov 10?

new data for Nov 10, 2009 after looking at the first 1000 (7% approval 4% RFE):

Initial review (85)

(not included to save space)

RFE (4)

eac1002850585 26-Jan-10

eac1002850652 28-Jan-10

eac1002850668 28-Jan-10

eac1002850675 22-Jan-10

Approval (7)

eac1002850514 5-Jan-10

eac1002850566 29-Jan-10

eac1002850631 29-Jan-10

eac1002850648 22-Jan-10

eac1002850686 5-Jan-10

eac1002850692 25-Jan-10

eac1002850704 25-Jan-10

Denial (1)

eac1002850646 7-Jan-10

That data was obtained by manually plugging every case number (you just use the day, i.e. 100285, and just plug other numbers to see if those are I-129F petition, and then you look at status).

That's a lot of work that other people just did on their own, to get an adequate feel about how things are going down at the VSC

Слава Україні!

WOW ........ This is very interesting.... In the old days ....... 2002 when I did my first I-129F - Visa Journey did not exist... If it did I would be bald from pulling out my hair from reading all this info I have been getting since I became a member in July 2009... In a way it is a good thing [VJ] and again it was suppose to be for info purposes..But as I read all the different posts [including my posts] We are all driving each other into stress heaven so to speak.......

We are all driving each other into stress heaven so to speak.......

I think most of us are intelligent adults completely capable of waiting and not getting to stressed. But there is some very strange goings on at the USCIS.

When I flip a switch I usually don't stop to wonder how does a light bulb work. But If I turned on the switch 100 times and every time it came on, except one day. Then I might question, why not?. That's where I am with the VJ/uscis. Last week of December the switch went off at VSC and now its not coming back on. Why?

I would take solace in the fact that USCIS processed all the October and then, on a first-come, first-serve basis processed November, but nooooo.....

It's like they are playing musical chairs with our boxes, mix and match, mix and match. Gah.

Let's just hope next week we'll see October done and done! Then off to November, and then December :)

I have a theory about what happened to Nov. petitions, just a hunch.

It is a fact per conversation with VSC director that

"They will concentrate on one type, get behind on another and then shift many people back to the other type. Lately we have shifted many, almost all, adjudicators to I-129fs, so that should make people happy. They will do that until they get caught up"

This was in September.

My guess is that right around the time Nov petitions were being assigned to adjudicators they shifted many of the adjudicators back to other types of petitions.

Perhaps some of these to be shifted adjudicators were in possession of Nov. petitions, and when they went back to whence they were issused they fell behind Dec. petitions, which were being processed by remaining 129f adjudicators.

October is the start of the new fiscal year at VSC and they may have made some staffing changes and organizational problems with petitions and re-assigning them to adjudicators that has not been shifted, and all of this right around the holidays.

The way CSC started moving so quickly coincided with the dramatic slowdown at VSC...so maybe they were helping California too...

It seems between the new fiscal year, a shifting of adjudicators away from 129, possibly tackling CSC petitons, and the holidays, with vacations and delays in inter-office communication due to people being out...almost any type of systematic clerical problem can happen.

Now, since they have the mix up....instead of trying to re-sort petitions they are just letting the process correct itself over time, which large insular organizations are prone to do, and no one the wiser, except for the code breakers can sample the trends from the outside in..whoops..thats not supposed to happen..lol

Just my guess.

Yeah skype and vonage would be great if, they included calls 2 mobiles in there unlimited plans.

Skype is about .24 usd per min 2 mobile, Vonage .13 plus 24.99 a month sub., i use my plugNtalk from smart about .14 no monthly fee, and my att monthly account around .20 a min. Some calling cards are cheaper, but pain in #### 2 use, and difficult to use as prove of on going relationship.

I use to use plug and talk... then I switch to phone cards... then I looked for other options...

Now I use startec... 10 cents a minute and 9 cents if your recipient is a Globe customer. I added the access number to my 10 free numbers to call on Verizon (I think ATT has the same). You can view all your calls on a bill you download online. Even though it is cheap I still manage to get to $500 plus dollars on my phone bill.

Peace!
