My current theory:

All of the current december filers have been from south america.

I am assuming the petitions are possibly split by continent, perhaps with lower than normal intake from south america recently (or maybe more staff assigned there given haiti) and as a result are up to december in their processing, where as the rest of the world is currently at the end of October for processing.

Acceptable? No

First come first served? Yes please

hi guys.. im a web designer and programmer. my NOA1 is on NOV 4th.. i was thinking of developing a database driven site so we can all log in and update the days and easly keep track and be able to view it from a website.. i will design the site just wondering if anyone is interested in inputing the data from the spreedsheet and helping keep track of all the and input each petition number from a certain day.. i could design a control panel to easly imput and maintain the petetions so we can all view it and get a clear idea of what is currently beeing processed.. with the software i would design it would be really easy to see what USCIS is currently working on if we all worked and keep it updated and inputed the k1 visas.. let me know what u guys think... thanks.

I'm pretty sure one of the December approvals was from Cuba. Not sure if the South America theory still applies. It is probably the old lady and the milk theory. Go to the grocery store and watch old lady buying milk. She will remove cartons in front to get the fresher milk in the back. Well the lazy VSC adjudicator has found it easier to take the cases on top of his stack verses to work from the bottom. Or it is Haitian Vodou brought on by my lack of sympathy for them.

Really? Mexico is North America... just saying :)

Fun fact of the day: Havana is the closest major city to Miami. Closer than Tampa, even.

How come every time an October filer gets approved, there's a December one in there too? It's enough to drive a tense and sick-of-waiting girl out of her mind! It's like there's an Oct-Nov-Dec sandwich, and we're that gross, super processed deli meat in the middle that no one at VSC will touch. Oct and Dec must be wonderful fresh-baked bread made out of fairy dust in place of flour.

Nice to see humor in Nov 09 posts......... Cuba is still 700 miles from the tip of South America.. I have been to Haiti in 2007..That country is a toilet bowl. I have photos of Adults walking around with nothing more than a pair of Boxer shorts on..NO JOKE!........ This is a very poor country ........earthquake or not...Birth control is what they need to be educated on.. If you can't feed them than don't breed them.!!

I say cuba is south america as it fits my theory the best. Perhaps I will classify everything south of texas as "south america" and then my theory works :D

Nice.

We need to get someone to put a "like" button on this VJ thing, so I can give your post a "like". Maybe I'll just do this:  Can we put New Zealand in South America, too, so I can get mine?
