And let's try not to turn on each other people (we can however turn on December and October filers, as they are the enemy!)

I have read all the posts here and I have to put in my LFMAO and LOL first - Great stuff! Keep up the good work! Also, kudos to the code breakers..It would be cool if we had a grand spreadsheet with all the I-129Fs tracked. That would be a valuable item to all of us junkies!

Anyway, back to reality, USCIS says 5 months is the time frame and I always took that at face value - which for us November folks means March. So, while I am still hoping for February...March is not that bad. Yah, I know, like you I have seen folks getting approved in 2 months back in Sept-Oct..and other times (these December people all need to buy lottery tickets as they are really lucky! I think we need to reset expectations and go with the 5 months. So, I have been trying to not think about the whole thing and do other things like reorganizing my sock drawer. The only problem is..that I only have 1 sock drawer..so I am already getting bored.

Well..good luck all...hopefully well get some November work started first of feb!

This is from today :D EAC1001750624 rfe January 29, 2010

Not a lot of action on the Nov. 6 files. Out of ~100 petitions for fiances received, 4 have been approved and one has been RFE'd. That leaves ~90% of these people in the boat with us... La la la.

It did give me some insight into just how big the mail room at VSC must be, though. Goodness sake.

Anyway, back to some real work :innocent:

I-129F

6 Nov 2009: NOA1

2 March 2010: NOA2 (116 days)

14 April 2010: Interview (159 days) Approved!!

8 June 2010: Case transferred to CSC

10 June 2010: Biometrics completed

31 July 2010: EAD and AP received!

9 Sept. 2010: RFE email for AoS

(RFE for medical. We replied with letter stating that it's not required since done overseas within one year)

I've added a little 'pet' case number into my portfolio from October 27th. When I see some movement on that I'll feel happy. It's weird I feel like I've adopted the case of some people I don't know...I'm weird.

Aww, checking on it in case they're not :)

I kind of felt like a voyeur going through everyone's cases. But I guess one doesn't really see any sensitive info....

Ok, After reading all the posts I have question regarding the 5 month approval time line. I thought the 5 months represented the entire process from NOA1, NOA2, Interview, Get Visa and finally arrive in the US. Is this not correct? Is the 5 month span the time frame between NOA1 and NOA2? Please!!!!! someone tell me the latter is the case!!!!

Afraid not. 5 months is USCIS's standard lead time from NOA1 to NOA2.

Cases had until recently been processing from NOA1 to visa issue within that timeframe but unfortunately it looks like we got in there just as the world ground to a halt!!

I want to get involved in the data collection as well. I just don't know what date to begin with. Nov 10 seems so far away, idk if it will be helpful. Oct 30 seems like a good date. The last workday before Nov.

I do have some good news, but also bad news. Out of the original cases that I was watching there was an approval today. The bad news is they are still working on Oct 22.

There are now 2 cases that I have been watching that have had actions today. Oct 19 had an approval and Oct 20 had a denial. Things are starting to move along now.

I had done a quick look at Oct 22. Approximately 80% had been touched and 50% have been approved. Most of the Oct 22 activity was last week. Jan 14-20. JL seems to be seeing a good amount of activity on Oct 26. Out of the 5 people on Igor's list with an NOA1 on 10/27, 3 have been approved. Two of them in the past week. I think focusing on 10/26-10/30 will be more productive as that is what I anticipate will be worked on next week. Then 11/2-11/6 the following week and then 11/9-11/13 the week after that.
