Where do find out what case # they are working on?

Go here https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do and put in case number. I did that one at a time. I've checked thousands changing one digit at a time lol. I hate waiting, atleast gives me something to do. Even if I have other things I should be doing lol.

I don't know how many of you listened to the State of the Union address last night, but there was this tiny little sound-byte near the end that caught my attention: "And we should continue the work of fixing our broken immigration system..."

I'm pretty sure he wasn't talking about us, but it's a little encouraging, at least. Even in the midst of everything else, immigration gets a little nod. I say we start fixing it by cranking out some NOA2s.

Quick question. If you received an RFE for something you know you included already, like for example proof of meeting in last 2 years. Lets say you sent in pictures, boarding passes, and hotel receipts.

Would you be upset that maybe the adjudicator was simply trying to get a file off his/her desk and was easier then actually processing it to send out rfe?

Or would be relieved that your case has changed status and that it is an easy fix maybe to send more pictures, or something?

I'd probably rather wait an extra week, and get approved, than get an RFE and my only redeeming element being that someone had touched my petition.

Hi everyone.

I was so bored, and didn't know what to do while waiting for that ******* NOA2. To tell u the truth, was kinda starting to go crazy

Since T and J un-coded the receipt number, i've done some manual searching too (which stopped my trip to crazyland), only for 11-09-2009 NOA1 date tho, which is mine :D , cos I wanted a REAL view over what's really going on at VSC

I saw that Jl_n_JL is doing the same searching too, so maybe we should combine our works, and maybe get some more help from other bored members, like each one can take care of a day or something.

I've been through all 10-30-2009 (1817 applications processed that day ><), and half of 11-09-2009. Ill finish the 11-09 day tonight.

Jl_n_JL , if u've put all ur info in a spreadsheet, can u send them to me, so I could add them to the file? I think I could give u access on that spreadsheet if u're interested, so u could update it too.

I thought of sharing that with u, cos I know how annoying it is to not know what's really goin on in VSC, if they were dead, or just working on other cases then ours.

So if others wanna help, pls say which day u wanna work on. After i finish 11-09, I'll attack 11-08, and so on ...

Good luck to everyone on their journey

Naddy

In fact, it's Naddy ><

Drue is too lazy to do that kind of work, he's even too lazy to call USCIS when i ask him too, cos if i call, we can forget about our application ><

thanks for offering ur help ^^ and sure i'm interested :D. I thought that working on 10-20 date and beyond will give us a good overview on which cases they are actually processing.
