i noticed the 2 december filers approved were south america, thought that was an itneresting co-incidence

I had a touch yesterday and my petition is for COLOMBIA south america.. They probably have alot of spanish people working at VSC . If you noticed many of DEC.2009 K-1 filers are from Spanish Countries...

Im wondering if it would be quicker to immigrate to south america, then reapply for K-1 than to wait for them to stop pissing around with those of us who are patiently waiting in line.

By the time you get to S. America, they probably will have moved on to processing people from the UK.

It's hard not to look for patterns and draw hasty conclusions, but the very limited amount of data that we have access to via Igor's List isn't really enough to describe a pattern. My guess: just coincidence.

If the people working at the VSC really wanted to be conspiratorial, surely they would've gone into a different branch of the government (or they'd be working on Wall St). I mean, acting out your evil plots against people filing I-129Fs? That's not only effed up, but just not effective in furthering one's evil agenda of conspiracy.

Here are two from today, but skipped over others with and earlier number.

Yeah, but they still have to process it when they get the stuff they request back, right? Maybe they're just sending out RFEs for the incomplete/complicated cases so that they can whiz through all the simple ones (i.e. ALL OF OURS!)

P.S. I just ran over to uscis.gov to see if either of those were mine; nope! Still at the bottom of the box.

No those numbers are from Oct26. According to your timeline you have Noa1 Nov 6. That was a saturday and from what I an tell they dont process on sat. Your number would be closer to Nov 5. Maybe like this guys

I think the reason things seem to have slowed is because of the sheer number of cases to process before us.

But what is the reason for there to be approvals for December filers? That is the thing that bothers me. If anyone should have been processed that quickly, it should have been me.

No those numbers are from Oct26. According to your timeline you have Noa1 Nov 6. That was a saturday and from what I an tell they dont process on sat. Your number would be closer to Nov 5. Maybe like this guys

Nov 6 was a Friday, and the day my petition arrived at VSC as well as my NOA1 date. But it's good to hear that some people from around that time are getting processed. Thanks for doing all that leg work!

It's a mystery. Or perhaps not; considering we are talking about a US government operation where they hire based on quotas instead of quality.
