Oooh! Good luck on the interview, Jl_n_JL!

Yeah, our wedding venue has all the romance of an airport terminal or a late night gas station: metal detector and bag x-ray on entry, and windows with little slots through which to talk to people and hand over documents. In some ways, I guess that's pretty reminiscent of the interview/travel process, so in a way, appropriate. At least they have a little room set aside for wedding ceremonies... We just want to get it done so we can file the AOS paperwork and get on with our life together. Get that man of mine earning some money to save up for a "proper" wedding in a few years...

I'm just waiting like you Anwesha :(

I have 2 weeks to kill, then I'll be super busy from May 8th till May 22nd (hopefully the day I'll fly over). I'll go to Paris, spend time with family and friend, then go to the interview, then go back home, hand over the apartment, sell the car, cancel all the utilities, pay my last taxes, then go back to Paris to take the plane. it's gonna be 2 weeks of hell :devil:

They will go by quick :)

Megan, don't worry, the first wedding is not really important, it's an AOS wedding. At least you will go somewhere to sign the papers and all. For us, I think Drue's friend will come over to marry us, he's a justice of the peace, our 2 doggies will be the witnesses lol, and then we'll all go to a barbecue ribs restaurant for the wedding dinner, sooooooooooo romantic :angry: . I'll let him plan this wedding, but the big wedding will be my way :diablo: lol

Thank you guys. The interview was fine. She arrived at USEM around 6:30 am and got her interview around 11:30 am. She was asked about my former marriage, my kids, when we are planning to get married etc... The consular laughed when she found out she was coming to Arkansas. Said we have a drawl (southern drawl). Some do I don't. We aren't all Hill-billies lol. Any way I'll be flying to RP (hopefully if visa arrives on time) on May17 and bringing her home May 24. My flight there I'll leave Ar. around 9:30 am mon arrive at Manila 10:30 pm Tues. :(, but Mon 24 will leave Manila at 6:30 am Mon, Arrive in Ar. 5:30pm Mon. :D
