seems like Mr.DogHandler has had one of those duh moments eh?

heehee!

Oh yes. The principle also extends to jewellery. Mr Dog took complete leave of his senses last Christmas and ventured into a jewellery store alone.

Mrs Dog got one horrific bracelet in the mail (for which she had to pay $50 UK import tax on cos Mr D was foolish enough to put the real value of horrific bracelet on customs form).

The bracelet was so horrific it was a miracle it didn't get seized by customs as it was a crime against fashion and good taste.

Mrs Dog went mental and sent it back to Mr Dog with a note which read "people have been divorced for less, hope you kept the receipt".

Men - step back from the store unless you are accompanied by a female.

I just burst out laughing spilling my water all over.

You are funny Mrs.D.I hope John does no such unaccompanied acts of bravery to profess his love.

Okay,I really need to stop laughing.

The last bit is true.Men should not try to invite this to themselves.Ever.

LOL, that's why I stick to the no-clothes rule with Milagros.. I'll buy her a bag on my own, but for clothes, it isn't worth it.. One time she spent an hour trying to pick out a $20 pair of flip flops.. She had the salesmen pull down every size 5 (and 6) from an entire rack.. I just sat there watching in amazement..

 Yep, that's what we are famous for.

OOOOOh! That pic of May's visa in her passport sure is a sight for sore eyes! Lovely!

Naddy, that dress is totally gorgeous, and as we've all got some kind of mental picture of what we all think each other looks like, I've always had the sense that you look like Audrey Hepburn, therefore that dress is perfect.

I googled her, and nope, not even close lol. Try to picture me like a white Tina Turner lol. well, at least her curly hair lol

Buying clothes for a female - unsupervised? Mr T - you are one hell of a brave man. It is a road most men fear to tread. The risks involved are immense, and include getting an earbashing for:-

a) getting the size too big "so, you think I'm fat?"

b) getting the size too small "are you trying to tell me I need to lose weight?"

c) buying an expensive item "you could have got that half price in the sale, that's a total waste of money"

d) buying a bargain "is that all I'm worth, a cheap, nasty sale item?"

e) getting the style wrong "do you want me to dress like your mother/prostitute?"

The item is then kept in a bag at the back of wardrobe only to be brought out when wife's female friends visit where they cackle like witches and there are screams of "OMG! - he bought you that?" "what was he thinking?" "he can never be trusted again".

Hope none of the above happens on this occasion!

I'm not afraid. She loves my sense of style. Here is what I bought...

post-78486-12722266389609_thumb.jpg

Anyways, if she ever said anything like that to me, there would be a huge argument. Here is what I would say...

a) No, I don't 'think' you are.

b) If I wasn't then, I am now.

c) You think $5 is expensive?

d) With that attitude, yes!

e) It's better than how you have been dressing yourself lately.

:D

PS - In the past I have bought bra's for her as well. So I have no fear.

PPS - Jum also works for a fashion company. They always compliment her there when she wears the close I buy for her. My sense of style in impeccable.

Hi guys!!! Just wanted to drop in and say hello :) Can't stop long but a couple pf things...

1. If you hadn't noticed by my absence - I DID make it stateside :D:D only after 10 hours sat in Manchester airport freaking out whilst they did so many checks on the plane they took the bloody engines apart!!

2. For the first time I told the Immigration Officer I was visiting my fiance - I got fewer questions than ever before. Definitely a good move.

3. My Packet 3 has been logged at the Embassy but no interview date yet.......anyone got better news??

Anyway just wanted to say hi - I'm off to look at apartments with my mother-in-law!! Yikes!!

So glad you made it. I've got my interview date 19th May. We've established that London does seem to allocate interviews depending on what travel dates you put on your packet 3 forms. I'd requested any interview date in May cos I need to travel in June (as I've sold my house and can't be having dogs in a homeless situation). Others who have got their interviews on the UK thread are saying the same, so whatever date you put on your checklist, they are going by that.

Happy househunting and safe journey back to the UK. Your last one.

Hugs to all of you waiting. It'll be worth it! :innocent:

Glad you made it, Jess!

Bwah ha ha! to the shopping! We went to go buy Ewan some clothes the other day - he had no shorts at all, which is basically a choice between death or nudity in the South Florida summer, so we took care of that. Neither of us would buy anything for the other in terms of clothes; we're both a bit picky, I guess...

We just got our marriage license today, and are planning on going to the courthouse for the ceremony on Friday. Ewan's ring is being made right now - hopefully it will get here in time!

YOU are one loveable rogue!

The suffering.....that will start with handing over another $1000 to immigration for AOS as soon as we're all married, cos that sure is gonna hurt.

I got my interview the day after Mrs HandA, so looking forward to doing the final dog dance with you in 3 weeks!

Just heard on news, the price of flights is about to sky rocket cos the airlines took such a hit from the volcano incident. We should book our flights as soon as we can, if we're bold enough to do so, we are not expecting any knock-backs at those embassies, but stranger things have happened, as we all know...

This made me remember something funny I once heard. I don't know why it made me remember it. It's advice for all the women. To make sure your husband is happy, you only have to do 2 things. Keep his stomach full and his nuts empty.:devil:
